Great design, light weight, does the trick.. needs locking hardware to lock the hand screws in tight. definitely an issue when supporting a larger book or you clip a capo/tuner up there. Added lock washers and shes perfect.

Watch the legs

Really inexpensive and it shows. Must align one leg directly behind stand or the lightest music book will
tip it over. Probably best for seated musician.

A little more than you average folding music stand.
By: Matt W.
Submitted: 4/24/2013
It is well made considering what it is. It is built for portability or for a minimal footprint, so don't expect it to be as as stable as solid non-folding types.
The folding is its best feature, making easy to store or transport. I also like how the tray tilts for getting the perfect angle... a feature generally not found on typical folding stands.
Easy to use, no parts to get lost. Though I've found the head-tilt knob needs to be fairly tight to avoid slippage.
Your general opinion of this product.
A good music stand to keep around if you need something portable or easily stored. Like most light-weight stands, it is prone to wobbling, especially if you have too many papers/binders/books on it, so be careful not to run into it too hard.
Yes.

Flimsy, But Very Usable
By: UliRothRules from Washington state
Submitted: 7/2/2011
This stand is flimsy. However, at this price point you can't expect top quality. It does tip over easily, but as long as you don't touch it while you are using it it will remain standing. This is a good stand for a kid or working class person looking for something that gets the basic job done without having to fork out a lot of cash.
No features to speak of. Just a basic stand.
Takes about 30 seconds to set up. There are rods that hold the songbook or sheet music open and they do their job well. The ledge that the book or sheet music sits on, though, is rather shallow, so if you have, say, a 200-330 page music book things get rather tight.
Can't complain. If I was a professional musician I would get something sturdier, but for us cheap amateurs it does okay.

Nive stand for the price
By: Rick Rocks in Berwyn
Submitted: 7/2/2011
The last music stand I bought was back in the 80s -- what ever happened to that thing???? :-) The rack/music holder was detachable on the old one, but this one is not -- it is permanently attached by a joint with a tension knob. It sometimes feels like it could break and snap. Time will tell. The legs seem very sturdy and stable, though.
See what I said above.
How hard can it be?
Yes it was. It will mostly be for home use I believe.

I prefer my Manhassett, but for students this is more than adequate.
It folds and unfolds
It's pretty mindless to unfold and set up
The value is the best thing about this item. You can certainly get a worse stand for the same money

This product is not the expensive best but for the price I would definitely purchase again. This item si very sturdy and I hope it last a long time.
I've only had it for 2 weeks and not sure what I would add to this item to perfect it at this time.
Very easy to use and simple to setup for my daughter. She is very happy with this stand and uses it on a daily basis.
Yes! Definitely a good value and bang for my buck.
Thank you!

low quality stand. metal very thin and flimsy. light weight .
its a stand. holds sheet music ok . books not so well
this is very easy to use . its a stand. very thin metal flimsy, but good for beginner at home practicing
it is a low budget sheet music stand. good for home use for kids learning music. item is flimsy and sometimes agrevating will twist at center if a big music book is used on it due to one side heavier than the other when at beginning of book. will straighten when you get to center/ half way in lesson book . LOL
low budget stand

Feels good to find a low priced, very dependable, tight, well made product. I bought it for home practice but it is nice enough to use anywhere.
I like the flexable clips that holds a book open or holds single pages in place. Can adjust height for standing or sitting use.
No instructions needed, easy to put together and use in a matter of 2 minutes. Easier to brake down and light enough to carry with you.
I shopped around online and found this stand to be the best bang for your buck. Low price and sturdy enough to last a lifetime.
