Product Review
I host karaoke, so I'm always looking for sturdy-yet-inexpensive microphones. I caught a two-for-tuesday sale on these, so figured I'd roll the dice and see if the Nady SP9 could work for me. My first impression when they arrived was positive: they look decent and the weight is good. In an initial, isolated test, I was impressed by the lack of handling noise, but was concerned by the bassiness and plosives. In a real-world live karaoke show, I'd give these mics a C-, maybe a D overall. They're tricky to EQ and you get lots of breath and plosives while people are singing. I don't feel TOO bad about keeping these around as emergency backups since I spent less than $10 per mic, but I definitely won't look to buy any more.

I wanted to have some inexpensive mics for on the go when doing a gig, & I like to keep my EV & 2 AKG mics at my studio. I already own a Nady, dual channel & microphone, wireless system, & love that product! So I grabbed these, & wow! Quite impressed!
I used these 3 for a show, a few weeks ago, & these babies pick up sound way better than I expected! I used all 3 on Mackie MIX12FX & I had the mics at just above the 0dB mark for volume. The gain on each of them stayed only at 1 - 3 notches above the -10dB, indicating these babies can pump out some more volume w/o distortion.
I think I might try my hand at doing some live recording w/ these & attach them to a couple guitar cabinets, just to see how they fair?
Either, cost for this 3 pack is a no brainer, & again, Nady has proven to be well worth the money & investment.

I cannot believe the sound and quality of this Mic. It is by far the best vocal Mic as compared to my sm58 with a bit higher punchy output. In a side by side with 5 other mics it was easily the winner. Great vocal presence. What a find. I am very particular about tone. Right on.

The Nady SP-9 is very well made and durable. It has a one piece cartridge that feels like it could be run over by a tank. Very rugged, and very reliable.
My favorite feature of this microphone is the unidirectional polar pattern. This makes it so the only noise fed into the microphone is coming from the front. Feedback is greatly minimized.
Very simple to use. Plug in a mic cord, and plug into mixer or mic preamp. Be sure to adjust preamp or mixer settings before use, though!
Great tone. This mic has a linear response for an all natural sound in live performances.
Your general opinion of this product.
This microphone (the SP-9) is the ideal microphone for stage or outdoor use.
