Easy to learn it should take you no more than an hour to start working out like you had it for years. The software integrates seamlessly with your daw. The hardware is great you can use it without looking at the computer but it doesn't work well with other software synths you will still need another controller if you use other software synths like reason etc.. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Made very well. Not a cheap plastic set of pads. The pads feel good and natural. You do not need to bang the heck out of the pads in order to get a response out of the box. All of these settings can be modified to suit your needs. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The ability to drag and drop sound files into the interface is great. This speeds up production time a lot. The interface takes a little getting used to but isn't too bad. I wish there were additional functions similar to most DAW's such as grouping and moving patterns. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Very easy to use. A little learning curve if your not used to working with midi controllers & drum pads but very intuitive. The PDF manual is easy to read and follow and NI's forum is full of good information and additional help. Sound How is the tone? Excellent sound out of box. With the addition of running VST's and simple functions such as reverb and EQ at a per sample level helps to make the sound that much better. Value Was this item an overall good value? This was a great value for the price. I think the Maschine Mikro gives any producer that well needed bang for your buck.

The Germans have cornered the market-once the rest if us producers figure it out!!! Why pay thousands for an MPC when you already have a COMPUTER!!!! MPC users can keep loading sounds if they want to...LOL
