Seeing people electronic music without a computer had me interested.. so I tried out pocket operators and a few other things like the korg volcas. Something about those seemed hard to me even though people will tell you they arent. These things have learning curves. The novation... well I picked it up and within ten minutes made a song, and it doesnt have like any instructions that are useful and the batteries that came were were dead, but I maybe watched like 3 videos about it and bought it on a whim before buying it. It's been the easiest thing I've found and used to make electronic music. I managed to put a few of my samples on it as well. A truly great designed product that's intuitive.

Late to the game for me but I totally love the Novation Circuit. Once you get going it is as easy as 123. Love the four parts 2 parts synths and 2 parts Drum! The midi and sequencing capabilities are just what I needed! I am able to sequence an external synth and use one of the parts while I still use the other 3 parts on the circuit! The Novation component software makes importing new sounds to the circuit a breeze! Thank You AMS!

I have owned 4 circuits. Due to a divorce, of course, of course, I had to sell my favorite machines on numerous occasions. The circuit was always heartbreaking to see in another mans arms. As life tends to do hindsight being 20/20 and all, I was finally able to rock a new circuit and I am always learning tricks from friends or YouTube or..... YouTube friends to master this ever expanding masterpiece. Literally 4! Sales just to regain the love of creating a multilayered(now with my own samples) smash hit. Best unit by far at its reasonable price or Americans no interest plan. As long as I don’t fall for some woman out to ruin my relationship with Johnny5 I’m going to be rockin this Groovebox until the end. Novation, keep it up. A big thanks to customer service for hassling with me. Oh yeah, midi.......

Love the Novation Circuit!

I could be considered a Novation fanboy. I have a lot of their midi controllers (Launchpads, this, etc). The Circuit is more powerful than a lot of people might think. Two full NOVA synthesizers (each 6-voice polyphonic) and a 4-note drum or sample sequencer (kick, snare, hi-hat, and something else). The built-in patch editor inside Components is also very easy to use. Use standalone with the built-in sounds or connect to a computer for controlling your plugins. Set the MIDI channels for each instrument independently.
Totally worth it. Also, it can function as a 50-knob midi controller (see Loopop video on a popular video site). Addicting and powerful little groovebox.

Very easy to use, does tke sone getting use to when irt xones to navigation since there is no screen. I got it for ideas onthe go but i feel its a little too basic for me. It is easy to "jot" own a quick melody but it takes a bit to get anything realy substantial. The device itself is nice, soft rubber, very bight, battery lasts quite. While, havent actually kiled a set. I typically replace batteries when i take it out after a couple days, and its just to make sure it doesn't die. Would recommend but not for anything serious, unless its accompanied by other devices to get the most

This is only my 2nd day with the Circuit but I already feel I got my moneys worth. It is a very well thought out design. Its very intuitive and fun to use. Now, that i'm looking at more tutorials online, I see there is even more to it than what my initial explorations uncovered which is awesome!
My partner who has been a little intimidated by my MPC and other production gear was also able to dive right in and make some cool beats, which was my hope as I'm trying to inspire her out of the DJ world a bit and felt this would be a fun gateway into making music.
If anyone is on the fence, not sure what your needs are for it but it already surpassed mine. At its core it is fun to use and can fire up creativity quickly.

Novation really came correct with the circuit! A very inspiring, versatile piece of gear that you can easily take with you anywhere and make music with. The support Novation has put into the circuit is excellent! From release day till now it has so much more capability. A very good investment, especially if they keep expanding with updates!! It's so nice to see rather than every 2 or 3 years needing to buy the newer version.. It's great to see that this is the new trend, with some companies giving better support for their gear than others, but any time new features can be added to an existing piece of gear, for free, is amazing!
So many soundpacks available for circuit you can really keep it fresh. If you are on the fence, don't be! Just get one! For the price you really get an amazing piece of gear, you wont regret it!

What makes this special for one thing its future proof to upgrade all you need is a device with a chrome browser on it to move around roms in and out of the cloud and load samples and edit the synth patches. They continually update and improve it and add new depth of features but the interface is incredibly intuitive.

I really like the ability to create grooves. The on-board loops are a great starting point, but I've been able to come up with some nice tracks with the synths and drums. Nice that you can save your work too!

LOVE LOVE this Groove Box From Novation (#0) Sounds Banging and Full 2 Poly Synths and Four drum parts that sound so off the chain and expressive. Plus with sample flip this Update makes this a Real Beast for Studio or Stage. (#1) Love that it is Battery Operated [Wish Novation Launchpad Pro was Battery Operated Talk About Missing The Boat but i digress. (#2) LOVE the Work Flow on The Novation Circuit (I have Korg Electribe 2 Great Machine but not as easy to Figure out Like Circuit). (#3) Love that it has a speaker (ONLY REASON DID NOT GET 5 Stars is (A) No Input In Jack AND (B) No Din Sync Breakout MIDI area. Otherwise Amazing!
