Originally purchased it to work with an open-source granular sound design application. Well...I've also found it useful as a control surface, not only for Ableton but for FL Studio and Pro Tools as well...Color me impressed. Works great with minimal hassle.

Great simple inexpensive midi controller, the knobs and faders are solid. I can't think of a better midi controller with this amount of features at this price range.
