| Despite its relatively low price and compact form, the XioSynth looks and feels like you paid twice as much for it. The keys are solid, the knobs provide nice resistance, and the screen is well lit and easy to see. |

| This thing is decked out. Though many features are not visible to the naked eye, rooting around in the submenus will reveal features not even advertised. I was especially pleased with the USB interface, which worked right out of the box. Now the record in and the audio out are both linked to the keyboard, with no fuss and bother. |
| Ease of Use:
| It's definitely possible to learn how to play this thing, but the lack of a hard copy manual coupled with the complexity of the feature nesting can make it difficult. |
| Sound:
| It sounds great, with the true flexibility of any good synth. About two thirds of the built in patches are monotimbral, which I don't quite understand, but maybe I just haven't figured out some related feature yet. |

| It feels good, though the touchpad can be somewhat stubborn. Keys are great though. |
