Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? It's made in the Czech Republic. And considering the Czechs have been making great acoustic double basses for a few hundred years I figured it was worth a shot. I'm so happy with my purchase. It was almost in perfect tune right out of the box! Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? There an not many features. Just two knobs: tone and volume. As well as a two position switch for archo or pizz. But if have a good EQ I think you will be all set. It also comes with a tripod stand and gig bag. Both very nice. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Its very responsive and very close to an acoustic tone. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I chose the sunburst. Beautiful.
