What features would you add to this product if you could? best feature ill say is that you can switch between all different mode of playing type. i already had the virtuall dj on my laptop so it was just plug an play for me. i would add though a forth channel for misc hook ups or possibly a slot to add samples. The Best feature of this product is the ability to either use it as a midi controller with a laptop , or just slide a couple of discs in and/or plug a couple of usb devices in and use it as a stand alone unit . How playable do you consider this product to be? The Mixdeck was ready to go right out of the box ! After reading the instruction booklet , there was no stopping me ! The Mixdeck is evverything it is supposed to be !!! Sound How is its Tone? The Mixdeck has great sound !!! Overall Your general opinion of this product. In my Assumption....IT'S PERFECT !! I LOVE IT !!! Value Was this item an overall good value? I think so..NO BETTER YET I KNOW SO !! When most good midi controllers go from like 500 to 1000 dollars i think that 'The Deck' is a good fit in the middle of these other guys. And like i said 'you get the best of both worlds' ; midi controller and cd player.

It plays CD's, IPODs, USB flash drive, and virtual DJ. It has all I need to put on a party. Someone bought me a CD to play while I was using a USB and I was able to put the CD in and switch quickly Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? I bought the item for my young sons. After playing with it and using it for an outside event at church I really enjoyed it and learned how to use it quickly. Had some issues loading the program to my computer, but once It was loaded it works fine. Sound How is its Tone? EQ helps. Used it straight to an amp, with no crossover, and was able to tweek my sound with the EQ. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Great!!! Value Was this item an overall good value? Great Value. I bought a dent and scratch, and could not even see the ding when it was in my case.

The ipod dock. I really like the versatility. I have a lot of college gigs and I am often asked to mix some crazy song that is popular to a particuliar crowd. If I don't have it for whatever reason I can snag it quicly from somone in the crowd. Basically this is the essential piece of equipment for the modern day Mobile DJ who actually mixes and blends tracks. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? This product was incredible. I was very pessimistic when purchasing this device from numark. I recently had the idj2, basically hell on earth owning that thing. I wouldnt recommend that to my worst enemy. However after months of research I found the mixdeck to be the only piece of DJ equipment that could fully handle all my DJ needs. I have used other similiar products, they are without a doubt inferior. This beast of a mixer is easy to use and produces excellent mixes. (check mixcrate.com) I recommend this to anyone looking for a great mobile dj setup. If your looking for something permanent go with the ns7, I use that at my resident DJ location and absolutely love it. (clearly for people who use serato) I have my mixdeck hooked to traktor and it is splendiferous!!! I didnt use the manual I prefer trial and error lol. Sound How is its Tone? Sound is great. I have recorded multiple live mixes from this beats, all replay crisp and clear. I also use multiple outputs and it still sounds great. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Love it! I wish they would make it available in maybe some custom finishes or a more rugged frame. Value Was this item an overall good value? EXCELLENT!!!

You can switch from CD to PC to Flash to Aux by a flick of the switch. With the added Ipod feature, you can personalize an event with the customers very own music play list! How playable do you consider this product to be? Only because I'm a little slow did it take a a short while. After I realized certain functions (by reading the manual)it is a plug and play out the box item. Sound How is its Tone? Well because I use QSC amps , Mackie board, and great Yamaha speakers, it sounds excellent. Even through the headphones. It actually has XLR outputs as well. Overall Your general opinion of this product. For the price and the affordability by using the payments I have quickly become marketable. Value Was this item an overall good value? It is worth it to get both the deck and case. One more payment to go! And I own it!

The versatilty of types of playing sources, the midi decks and of course, the price!!! It performs better that those $1000 single cd players out there (CDJ's, Denons, etc...) How playable do you consider this product to be? Very simple to learn and use. Almost "plug and play". Received it on a Friday at 2:15 pm, set-up and playing by 3:00pm, used it at a gig that evening at 7:00pm.. How's that for ease of use? Sound How is its Tone? Sound is good, though I won't really be able to critique until I do an upcoming event at a municipal auditorium that holds 6,000 persons, and plug into their high-end system. I only rated it a '3' due to the audio drops I keep experienceing and Numark Tech Support doesn't seem to be able to assist me (see Native Instruments forum, search 'DJ 1 Time'). Overall Your general opinion of this product. Value Was this item an overall good value? Absolutely! $900 for both the system and the case!!!???....Can't beat that. Not to mention the easy financing through American Musical Supply...I won't buy from anyone else!!!
