The ipod dock. I really like the versatility. I have a lot of college gigs and I am often asked to mix some crazy song that is popular to a particuliar crowd. If I don't have it for whatever reason I can snag it quicly from somone in the crowd. This product was incredible. I was very pessimistic when purchasing this device from numark. I recently had the idj2, basically hell on earth owning that thing. I wouldnt recommend that to my worst enemy. However after months of research I found the mixdeck to be the only piece of DJ equipment that could fully handle all my DJ needs. I have used other similiar products, they are without a doubt inferior. This beast of a mixer is easy to use and produces excellent mixes. (check mixcrate.com) I recommend this to anyone looking for a great mobile dj setup. If your looking for something permanent go with the ns7, I use that at my resident DJ location and absolutely love it. (clearly for people who use serato) I have my mixdeck hooked to traktor and it is splendiferous!!! I didnt use the manual I prefer trial and error lol. Sound How is the tone? Sound is great.
