All the features that are on the NS7 are there for a purpose and definitely work as they are supposed to. The only feature lacking (which is now available via the NS7 effect attachment) is having special effects. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? You will be tearing it up in a matter of minutes. Follow the quick setup guide and you'll be well on your way to punching out the beats. Sound How is its Tone? The sound is excellent. Overall Your general opinion of this product. One of the best investments I have made in starting up my mobile disco operation again. The NS7 has been the answer to my mobile dj dilema. Value Was this item an overall good value? Considering what the NS7 can do - the price tag of $1300 was well worth it.

The platters, hot cues, autolooping, just solidly built. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Easy peasy. The software has a very limited GUI, all functions are clearly represented and logically arranged on the ns7. The features leave plenty of room for imagination and experimentation. Even if you aren't interested in djing it makes an awesome tool for finding loops and one shots for throwing into a phrase sampler. My only complaint is the lack of rewire support Sound How is its Tone? Clean and unflavored - it plays what you put in it Overall Your general opinion of this product. If you have a computer that it can run on totally worth it. I have a pc that it works fine on but I hear with some processors there are driver conflicts so definitly research if you want to run it on a pc rig Value Was this item an overall good value? Extremely well put together, they did not skimp on the quality and build. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Covers all the features for a core DJ rig. Kewl that they created an effects module you can add on called the NSFX. Strip search is an excellent touch. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Simplistic yet great for pros and newbies. Sound How is its Tone? The quality is brilliant and very smooth. Not rough sounding. THey put quality throughout the entire system even the sound quality. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This is a revolutionary product for this generation of DJs just like the Tech 1200s back when it first came out in the late 70s. Numark has finally got it right on all fronts. There was a diode problem in the beginning but they've seemed to taken care of that problem, so the unit is very reliable now. Value Was this item an overall good value? Basically you have 2 direct drive adjustable torque decks, a quality mixer with an excellent x-fader, sweet features for any type DJ and a world class DVS software from Serato called Itch with free updates. So yes $1299 is very reasonable to me.
