Very well made. Feels solid. Also, very light to carry around to practice or gigs

I've had this for a while and it's held up extremely well. I did purchase a cover for it to help protect it. Wish Orange made covers for this.

Your general opinion of this product.
I've been very impressed with the tone I get out of this amp. The effects are all good and it has a great crunch sound. Very loud for such a small amp. Only problem I've had is from time to time I get a cb radio or station of some kind that bleeds through. Frustrating if you're playing a gig.

A little more.... A little less.....

Quality is "Ok", the knobs could be a little larger for fat fingers me, and the effects controls when they work are "Ok" but don't have much tweak, the changed between ticks is pretty drastic, no fine tuning really. But for a practice amp, that's fine I guess. The 10" speaker is nice on clean, and it's way loud, I may use it live for clean side, and pick up something bigger for my other needs.

So far so good, for what's inside it runs pretty cool, was expecting a lot of heat, but it's surprised me.

Overall, for a practice amp it's "Better than OK". The effects have a tough time tracking in distorted mode, and the difference in power between clean and distortion is muy drastic which alleviates me buying a footswitch later, the resetting of the amp countour needs too much tweak to be able to quick switch.

Clean has a lot of punch and breadth, I love the clean side and it's ability to cut through and really hold the tone from my Tele... The distorted side is "Ok", you really have to cut down the mid and treb to almost nada to get it to sound ok, and then flush it up on the volume. It's passable, but not ready for gig quality distortion.

Orange is definitely ORANGE, I may dress it up for Halloween, wait, it's already dressed.

I am very concerned about the quality. There are times when the effects don't work or when I switch pick ups and the amp just misses it. I have a full warranty, so I can always return it, but that's a hassle.
Consider my fingers crossed.

I've had it less than 30 days, so see above.

The Orange Crush 35LDX has dynamite (and loud) cleans. Lots of usable headroom. The quality volume diminishes as gain is added and even more so when effects are stacked. It can get fizzy when dimed out.
That said, the hard rock crunch and clean tones are decidedly unique and full. I give the Crush high marks for having a very warm tone that can be shaped to your hearts desire with the combination of OD, Gain and equalizer.

The shipping box came all banged up but luckily, the amp worked when I turned it on.

A good clean amp, but if you are looking for a do it all amp, look else where.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It is bigger than I thought it would be. Controls easy to get at. It gets loud. I got this amp for my son, but he also has pedals to use with it so it should be fine.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
To my ears, you get close to that sweet orange tone on the clean channel. Not bad for solid state. In my opinion, too mild for heavy rock without pedals. My Gibson Les paul sounds smooth through it for Jazz or Blues with a different flavor than I get out of my twin reverb.

Well to me, it didn't look bright orange but more of a basketball color. Still though, cool looking.
