These amps are hyped up for a reason. I used to play on a Pevey 6505, And we had actually recorded half of our album with that amp. We recorded the other half with my orange and it was so noticeably different that we need to go back and change it. It sounds so great, give it a chance.

Simply Amazing Amp

The Rockerverb can do pretty much anything you need it to do and do it incredibly well. Like some other reviewers, I’ve been most impressed with the attenuator and how GREAT the tone is even at low volumes. Can’t recommend it highly enough. The Rockerverb doesn’t disappoint.

It has that huge Orange drive, a sparkly clean channel and tons of tone shaping with simple controls. The addition of the attenuator and FX loop make it a breeze to record with and with 100 watts it has all the headroom you could ever need in a band setting.

What can I say? This amplifier is amazing, the tone is massive, the gain stages are perfect. The attenuator dials the volume back perfectly without changing the overall structure. If you need a 100 watt amp and you want sparkly clean tones, plenty of bottom end and an insane gain stages get this amp!

You know who orange is and you’ve heard they’re great however, you don’t really realize how amazing they are until you have one in front of you. WOW what an amazing amp, this is a must have for any guitarist from the at home Jam dad to the road warrior who gigs everyday of the year.
10/10 build quality and sound

It's a killer amp. Tried it with greenbacks, redbacks, evm's, creambacks and v30's, sounds great with all of them. Does anything you could want from it really, even has reverb. I've used it for everything from rock to grunge to metal to stoner and doom. The attenuation is multi-faceted and gives you tons of play for any room-size. I like to drop the gain and crank it high on the volume dial and get this vintage, thunderous thing that it can do so well. Seriously reminds me of the OR's and Matamp stuff. Highly recommended.

Product Review
First off, the power settings are a huge plus on this amp
100-70-50 and 30 Watt modes let you get the optimal amount of push for any venue size.
But the removal of the master volume and replacing it with an attenuation knob let’s you play this amp at bedroom levels of you really want to if you have the strength to carry it back and forth (it’s H E A V Y)
The reverb on the amp is really responsive, from simple chime to full on shoegaze if you want it. It won’t replace your reverb pedal anytime soon, but it has its own flavor that gives you a really nice second reverb setting if you want to use it.
The effects loop is really well done, just powered enough for longer cable runs, but not too powered to color your tone.
The cleans are c l e a n if you’re set to the appropriate power setting for your volume so you have the correct volume. It’s nice and warm without hitting you with an ice pick.
The dirty channel is probably why you’re looking at this amp and it does not disappoint. If you want just a bit of drive, or a full lead or -core sound. This will do it. It has all the orange goodness and will give you want you’re asking for. The dirt feels revoiced compared to the MKII or MKI but it’s a nice refreshed feeling, like watching an old friend doing better for themselves and growing up. It’s just a better sound.
There is only one con with this amp.
Oranges are notorious for being dark sounding and this is definitely no exception. Orange amps lack a Presence or Bright control like Peaveys and Mesas have. If you’re looking to play doom or sludge metal this should be your obvious first choice, however it does so much more.
Like I mentioned before, the revoiced and new sounding distortion Channel is a breath of fresh air, but it’s also way more open to influence from effects before your preamp. If you run an overdrive pedal with a presence or brightness control on it, (Example: Horizon Devices Precision Drive or Truetone Jekyll and Hyde) you can 100% pull this dark amp back into the light, and get some nice progressive, modern metal tones, or some crisper classic rock tones.
I won’t knock points off for needing pedals to brighten up, at this level of gear, you probably already have some pedals and if not, get something to brighten your tone if that’s your jam.
TL;DR
Good venue, good bedroom
Handles pedals well
New sound is refreshing.
Truly a Swiss army amp

Mind Blowing Amp!

Product Review
I’ve owned over 25+ amps and this one is the true winner. It is the Swiss Army knife of Amps. The clean channel sounds amazing and has lots of Chime with organic tube feel. There are many Crunch options that you can dial in for Killer Rock sounds and lots more. The higher gain settings are top notch with plenty of distortion. This amp takes pedals well with the ones I’ve tested. Built in attenuation is a luxury most amps don’t have. Reverb sounds stellar. So far my favorite amp of all time!

Great Amp For Metal and More

Product Review
The tone on this amp is better than expected and from hard rock to metal the Rockerverb has me covered. The reverb is so much better than the MKII as is the overall control of the amp itself and having the ability to change the power settings is just icing on the cake. For recording, practice or live this amp is perfect and very flexible. I play in a power metal band and my other guitar player loves this amp as well. I like to play with a minimum of pedals and like getting my distortion and tone from my amp and with this amp I find myself very satisfied. AMS always makes it easy on my wallet and the 12 month pay plan is tough to beat. This amp is a 10 in my humble opinion as it does everything I need, The clean channel is also very nice, not chimey, but warm and articulate. A good Tube screamer sounds great with this amp and really the only one I need or use most of the time. The effects loop works very well with different pedals if that is your thing you can run your effects that way.

Orange is known for great quality and tone and the Rockerverb delivers in spades! I use it to play everything from country to blues to 80's Rock and modern day metal and djent. The controls are very responsive and its refreshing to have an amp that maintains clarity throughout the eq sweep. The only downside I can see is the footswitchable controls. Each one takes an individual 1/4" cable. For full control you end up with 3 cables from the rear of the amp and your instrument cable from the front. That's a lot of cable possibly cluttering the stage. I build my own custom cables and foot switches for each amp so that's not a problem, but something to be aware of.
Playing through a custom 4x12 slant can with Eminence Red Coats and an Ibanez Prestige RGA121NF with a bad horsie 2, modded Ibanez TS-808 and TC polytune
