Quality:
Firstly, let me say that the case pictured is the CONTOURED case, and IS NOT the case I recieved. The one I got is also made for ovation shallow body guitars, but I believe is just a different type of body on the case- it still fits the guitar perfectly, and is custom fitted specifically for the ovation shallow body series. With that in mind, what you get isn't what you see, but is still a rugged, great case. Just keep that in mind!
Reliability:
Just got it, so hard to say. My bandmate has almost the exact same case, and has had it for about 10 years and its still in great condition after lots of traveling, so I imagine its going to be the same.
Overall:
This is a great case, but a warning to people on AMS looking to buy this case- this is NOT the case pictured! I bought this thinking I was going to receive the 8117 ovation case, when in fact I got another, bulkier version of this case. If this matters to you, think again.
