Has a nice sound for the price. After tinkering with the string tension and a few rounds of playing and recording a song noted it to sound very nice. If I knew what I was doing it would sound better I suppose. All and all great tone. I would buy another one

Acceptable construction for the price
Tone is incredible for the not so fancy construction.
Excellent value. You get a lot of cajon for an entry level price.

Great craftmanship.

Seems to be a great product with quality workmanship. It is an import but great value and versatility.
The sound is great within 20 min. or so out of the box, I had it adjusted to my taste.Very simple.
I was looking for the best bang for your buck in the 150.00 price range, and since this came with a bag, I decided to pull the trigger. After all you have 45 days to "bond" it thrugh AMS.

Better than the Meinl

Overall quality looks great. The snare tuners in particular are well done.
The bass is very resonant - almost too much, but you can find the sweet spot where it's just right. The snares are sharp right out of the box.
Can't beat the value for the price. Our church has a Meinl in the same price range, but this one sounds better.

I know Pear has a name that has been around for many years in the music business so no concerns for me on this product.
The tones sound nice a rich with adjustments for more snear sound or deeper bass
Glad I made this purchase cause this cajon and case is well worth it!

Besides one screw being a little loose at the top, I didn't find any scratches or anything. Good product.
Sounds really great! I like that I can hit specific areas and get really good tones.
Overall, this product is awesome. It sounds good and is inexpensive. Also the bag is really nice. It exceeded my expectations.
