Tone Heaven
Quality:
It's made in Mississippi, U.S.A!! Boutique sound and vibe without the boutique price.
Sound:
I can get get snappy Country tones, smooth Jazz tones, Crunchy Rock tones and even saturated Metal tones. Rich round lows and crisp biting highs. Smooth mid-range. Everything I need. I have 7 really good guitars from Fender, Reverend and Carvin. Including Fender Texas Special single coils, P90s and fat round humbuckers and they all sound GREAT through this amp. And it can get surprisingly LOUD if that's what you want.
Reliability:
Peavey's reliability is unquestioned and I expect the same from the Classic 30.
Overall:
This amp SMOKES the comparable Fender amps. I've been playing guitar for 46 years and have owned or tried just about everything out there. This is the best sounding amp I've tried. I play in a variety band. We play Classic Rock, Blues, Oldies, Disco, R & B, Old Country, New Country, even a few Rap songs. This amp does it all, without having to take out a mortgage and without wrenching your back carrying it around.
Playability and Feel:
Tone:
As I said above. I play every weekend, 2 nights or more and the Peavey Classic 30 is very versatile.
Finish:
I bought the Tweed and it's beautiful. Very classy look.

The tone is perfect. I have a Celestion Vintage 30 speaker in mine (and new tubes) but other than that, it's just like it came.
Reliability:
It's my go-to amp.

Nice amp but nit as nice as a Blues Jr
Quality:
Good quality..Better than an Ibanez or any other solid state
Sound:
The Tone is good tube tone...a hundred times better than any solid atsta but NOT as good or as clean as a Fender Blues Jr
Reliability:
I hears Peavey was reliable
Overall:
This is a nice amp and you can get a good variety of toneful sound but it is overpriced and over hyped ehar compared to a Febder Blue Jr
Playability and Feel:
Easy to play but lacks the depyj and throatinesss you acn get froma Blues Jr with the FAT switch on.
Tone:
The tone is lacking when compared to the Fender..better than a solid state but very much lacking when compared to ablued JR
Finish:
Toley seems OK but I'm nor a fan of Peaveys brown...Ilkie the Fender Black eith the silverface
Action:
Touch Dynamics don't come close to the Blues Jr

AMAZING AMP
Quality:
Its a usa quality amp its nothing short of amazing
Sound:
Tone is great i can get everything from classic blues to 80's rock throw a tube screamer in the mix and u can get 80's metal. It is an extremely versital amp. I read reviews saying the clean isn't good the clean is awesome u just need to learn where your volume nob is on your guitar. and adjust yr eq to where it works with your clean as well as yr dirty channel. my bass is at 8 mids at 5 treble at 9.
Reliability:
I've had this for a year now i'v gigged with it used at practice and at home i have had no problems

Great Little Amp
Quality:
Again it's all made right here in the USA. Keeps our people employed! For a 600 dollar amp I think you'll be really surprised. Don't be afraid if the Peavey name this is a high end amp. And upgradable to keep you happy for years to come.
Sound:
I changed the speaker to a Eminence Wizard and that REALLY changed it for the better. From an OK blues amp to a more Marshall like tone. I play straight up Punk and this nails it with the speaker change.
Reliability:
Only had it around 6 months and so far so good. Don't have the problems others reported (cross my fingers)
Overall:
I like it - don't love it. I needed a new amp, I play out almost every week and needed an amp that was loud, portable, reliable, and great tone in a sub 1000 budget. This almost fits it perfectly. Plus it's made in the USA!
Playability and Feel:
Well it is not heavey, feels solid as a tank. And has that Made in the USA quality feel you get in more expensive amps.
Tone:
Mid Range'y. The Blue Marvel speaker kind of restricts it - it really opens up when putting it through a cabinet. Cleans are great espically with single coils. I like it as a balls out rock amp, not a metal amp though.
Finish:
Great job on the tweed - gets lots of compliments. But as long as it is reliable and sounds good - who cares!
Action:
Super low - no setup needed. The neck is fast for an amp.
