Big, Heavy, and Awesome
Quality:
Its rugged like you would expect from Peavey, it feels as heavy as my 1505-8's... I think you could sub these for go-kart tires if you had to. I do not see these being phased by heavy gigging.
Features:
It's a speaker, it go loud ;p I like the connections, easy as pie. I also like the field replaceable parts, makes this my first choice in on-the-road equipment.
Ease of Use:
Installed in my Peavey 112T monitors with no issue.
Sound:
Now I know why this is out of stock, the speaker rocks, it has a fine coverage of tones from high to low. It responds well to low wattage as well although it will "kick in" volume at about 100+ watts. I am using these in monitors with a pair of super tweeters covering each... I am thinking I should turn these around and use them for mains. I have them crossed over with horns at 1800 and works great.
