I FREAKIN' LOVE THIS BASS GUITAR!!!!!!!!!!
Quality:
Like I said in my Opening I LOVE THIS BASS! It's built very durable & is very High-Quality! It totally changed my thoughts about Peavey's Bass Guitars!
Features:
The 1 & Only Complaint I have is that I wish it had Active Electronics, but other than that I am 100% Totally Happy with this Bass!
Sound:
Sounds Great! Hecka PUNCH! Great Tone! Love That SOUND!!!!
Playability and Feel:
It Feels WONDERFUL! I Love the Wood! I Love the Neck! I Love the Action! I Love this Bass! (Yall figgered that out yet? LMAO!)
Tone:
Great Tone! Great "PUNCH"! Sounds better than Basses Ive spent 3-4 times as much on!
Finish:
The look of this Bass is Kick-A**!!! Everyone that sees it Loves it.........But Not as Much as I LOVE IT!
Action:
the Action out of the Box was very Good, I did however have the Intonation set because when in tune open it was slightly sharp at the 12th Fret. I really have 0 Complaints about this Bass Guitar. If it had Active Electronics it would be better than Perfect!

Terrific Bass for the money!!!
Quality:
Looks solid, neck-thru build with mahogany body wings. Hardware is all industry standard stuff, a high mass string thru body bridge and lightweight tuners. Big strap buttons, so no need for straplocks. Pickups and other hardware are securely mounted, no issues.
Features:
For me, this bass was about finally getting a neck-thru for my stable of mostly Fender instruments. To get a solidly built 24 fret neck thru bass with two humbucking PUs, great action and a very usable variety of tones...where is the down side???
Sound:
It's passive, which I like. Played thru an SVT 4X10, a Peavey 2X10 combo and a Boogie M2000...There are any number of J Bass style tones in there. If you are looking for a more modern R&B or metal sound, this might not be the best choice unless you have FX. The 2 volume and 2 tone pots are clean and make it very easy to set the bass up for multiple tones even in the same song.
Playability and Feel:
VERY fast neck, well-dressed frets and a smooth overall feel to the neck's finish make for a great playing bass. No dead spots, VERY easy to get string and fret vibrato. The 35" scale makes playing in the higher registers a little easier if you have fat fingers like me! Very consistent string tension for the plucking/fingering hand, especially when playing on the bridge PU.
Tone:
With the light strings, the bass has a snappy high end (the mahogany is very light and adds to the effect) with even mids and a modest bottom. It will NOT recreate a classic Music Man tone with factory setup, there's just not enough wood on this thing! Heavier strings and higher action would add to the bass' depth, but maybe at the cost of all that sparkle.
Finish:
The finish was OK, but I did get mine as a scratch & dent, and it was due to a relatively minor factory finish issue that AMS detected and subsequently discounted the bass (SIGNIFICANTLY) for. At a distance greater than 6 inches, you can't tell a thing and the bass is otherwise unaffected.
Action:
The bass came out of the box strung with light strings (maybe 95s or 100s) and had very low action. Playing with a light touch allowed for surprisingly fast, articulate runs as well as smooth chords. If you play harder, you might need to tweak it a little, but it's just what the doctor ordered!
