Well kept secret 5 years later. Pay attention.
Quality:
The fit and finish of this bass is great for the $$. I can't vouch for the materials but I can say after 5 years the original setup still holds. I have never adjusted the truss rod. I bought the Grind as a backup but, it has become my main bass and, I am about to buy another one.
Features:
The best thing about this product is the price. Incredible bargain.
Sound:
Playability and Feel:
This bass is lightning fast thanks to a thin neck and narrow spacing. I like it better than any other bass I have tried or owned.
Tone:
The tone of this bass is deep and heavy. If you are looking for poppy, bright slap tone look elsewhere or plan on a pickup change. Neck through means deep.
Finish:
The finish was raw wood. At first I was taken aback but after a little lemon oil I love it. I bought mine when they were still scalloping the horn.
Action:
Out of the box it needed a bit of setup - show me a new bass that doesn't.

Suprisingly Good
Quality:
The frets could use a little filling ( a very little) they don't cut but you can feel them if you drag your hand on the G side of the neck. I haven't had it very long so dependability is something I cannot comment on.
Features:
Two pickups, two passive tone controls. Psshh who needs active electronics, this combo can get you almost any sound you need.
Sound:
The front pickup soloed sounds VERY P bass like to my ears. I would say it probably sounds like a dual P setup... but I have no experience with those so I really cannot say for sure. For a passive instrument it has a fairly dark aggressive sound that nicely mellows with the use of the tone controls.
Playability and Feel:
The neck is very comfortable. Middle of the road for a 5 string neck as far as spacing. Not as wide as say... a Squier Deluxe Active 5er but not Ibanez thin either. The controls are slightly in the way when getting into it with a pick but a slight technique change takes care of that issue.
Tone:
Pickups are fairly low output, but I think that has more to due with their distance from the strings. I would call the tone dark and aggressive. The tone controls can get you to raggae depth but it retains a nice tightness to it. Doesn't fart out at all (although that has a lot to do with your amp of choice)
Finish:
The finish is smooth and really shows off the wood. Looks stunning.
Action:
The action could have been a little lower but it was much better out of the box than a lot of others.

Action:

Could be better
Quality:
Having played one for the better part of 6 years now, it is a dependable bass. Not the best sounding bass out there but it will get the job done. Like stated before, the over all finish quality is not there. Rough edges around the scalloped body, scratchy finish, frets needed to be filed...etc.
Features:
Best feature is the looks.
Sound:
Pretty good tone to it, not the best out there but good. Active electronics would suit this bass very well.
Playability and Feel:
Slightly on the heavy side, neck is relatively fast, controls could be in a better spot (but thats all personal opinion)
Tone:
Pickups are passive so not so hot, good tone can still be achieved though.
Finish:
The bass is very good looking but the over all finish is of poor quality.
Action:
Needed to be set up.

Awesome Bass on a budget
Quality:
Great quality... I played and abused a Peavy Foundation for 10+ years and was a great bass.
Features:
Ease of bridge adjustment.
Sound:
Good
Playability and Feel:
Good weight to bass... easy to play... was worried about being able to go from 4 to 5 string, but neck not too wide and more frets so easier to move around all over the neck.
Tone:
N/C
Finish:
The natural wood finish looks great, but mine doesn't seem as dark as the wood in the picture, which I would have liked.
Action:
Played great out of the box... no adjustments needed other than tuning.

Own it and Love it
Quality:
Right out of the box it's a solid build, it's light weight and who can say no to a natural wood finish, though mine was a lighter colour then the one depicted.
Features:
two humbuckers, and the neck-thru make it a breeze to reach those high frets. and a bridge built like a tank.
Sound:
tone is warm and buttery it's a very passive bass indeed, perfect fro jazz/blues but can get punchy when you want it too
Playability and Feel:
a wide neck, though great for me may no be great for others, it's a light weight bass and the action was perfect right out of the box. The four tone controls give you a huge range of sounds.
Tone:
warm and like butter (with the right AMP)
Finish:
Natural wood looks great and the black tuners and tone knobs give a nice subdued look
Action:
perfect for a nice low setting, though the G string buzzed a bit but with a little tweak it was fine
