Killer tone for the price

Product Review The guy that said this is made of cheap plastic is lying. When I bought this head, and did have a case for it, I almost hit a deer, heading home from a gig. The head flew from the back seat and smashed into the heating vents in the front. Nothing broke on it. The head is really solid for being so lightweight. More importantly, this head has incredible tone for this price. Throw in a preamp and you are good to go! I run this through a Peavey Tour 215. I love it.

Product Review Got this with a complimentary 4x10 headliner cab. To replace a hartke 2x10 combo. Needed more but on a bugdet. This thing gives what is needed to jam all sorts of gigs. The tone you can get from the eq is lovely.

Product Review Head to toe this has it. The eq is exactly what's needed to key in your perfect tone. The 1000 Watts will bring bass Thunder to any stage. Club or arenea.

Product Review The whole reason i picked this up was the price, and the fact that it was lightweight. The build construction leaves a lot to be desired. The knobs are cheap plastic, and the wings on the front should not be used as handles when racking. they are thin plastic that cracks easily. Ask me how i know... I bought mine in september, immediately racked it, and played it a total of an hour over 3 sessions. went to use it a couple weeks ago, and it no longer turns on. Contacted Peavey, and they said i could send it to them, but it will cost me shipping both ways, and whatever the repair fee ends up being. gotta say this was a great buy /sarcasm

Product Review This is by far the best Amp I have ever owned and I have had many in the last 20 years. This one has the power and the tone and thanks to AMS, it was shipped in one day. Great Amp, Great Service. What could be better.

Very versatile but doesn't play as loud as my old Peavey Firebass head.

Product Review It doesn't play as loud as my old reliable Peavey Firebass amp (700 continuous watts RMS). It does push my 2x15 cabinet loud enough for small to medium venues playing alt rock. It draws just 200 watts of power from the AC source. The published power output rating of 1,000 watts is for "program power" which is not the same as continuous power and can be confusing when replacing an older amp rated to continuous RMS power standards. It's probably not loud enough for playing hard rock/metal or outdoor rock and roll gigs. It will certainly give you what you need for jazz or soft rock in a church or coffee shop when played thru efficient speakers. It does allow you to tailor the sound in a large number of ways. It is surprisingly loud for a 200 watt amp and will push speakers way louder than the Behringer bx2000h I bought and sold last year.
