General What is your overall opinion of this product? A fantastic beginning five string-I've been playing a four string for years and decided it was time to try something new-I wasn't looking to spend a lot but I didn't expect such good quality for such a low price! Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? I have had this over a month. When it first arrived the frets were extremely sharp and I was going to take it in to get them filed, but over about a three day period the bass adjusted to the atmosphere and no action was neccessary. Features Are the features on the product what you were expecting? What are your favorite features? It's an all-around excellent bass-I'm learning the fifth string and it's been wonderful to be able to learn on a good quality instrument Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Easy to get to the knobs, keeps tune impeccably through environment changes-winter to spring to summer in Minnesota, in and out of A/C, humidity, dryness, hot, cold, you name it! Tone How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin? I was not a fan of the stock strings, but once I got those changed out it plays beautifully. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I really love the coloration and patterns-it's a darker blue than I expected but the graining patterns are incredible! Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? I was not expecting near this quality for such an affordable price-it's not a $1,000 bass but it definitely works well Playability How was the action out of the box? Great-the only adjustments needed were time to adjust to the atmosphere and new strings to fit my preferences.
Great i love this bass

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? these bass guitars are nice. i totaly relied on my bxp/ac for almost 9 years befor I bought another bxp. parts are a little hard to get, but they dont break down often. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I would consider putting some cleaner pickups in the body. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? the pickups are a little fuzzy but thats not imposible to clean up. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I own two peavey millenum bxp's one is red and the other is black. I love the tiger wood look.
