General What is your overall opinion of this product? I liked this bass so much, I had to buy another. No joke. The tonal options you can get with this passive bass is ridiculous. Dial in the treble, and you've got slap/pop tone for days. Bring up the mids/lows, and take half of the treble out, and you've got a growling deeeeep low end that'll shake you to the core. I seriously don't have any complaints. After setting everything up to my preferences, there isn't anything I can't do with this bass -- Short of playing a high B and E. ((lol)) The neck is the perfect width for playing walking lines without your hand cramping, or feeling like you have to stretch for the low end. The weight is just right, as well. I perform often, and with heavier basses, my shoulder has a tendency of giving out on me. The BXP is light enough, I can play a 3 hour set, and still feel like playing. (yes, this is a gigging bass by all means) I can't get enough of it. I've had it for months, and I still think about it when I'm not around it. I would recommend this

What is your overall opinion of this product? Know that most new basses and guitars need some kind of set up. The environmental changes they go through from import to final shipping will see to that. So you should always expect some bridge and/or trus rod adjustment. Once I had the action and intonation set on this bass, it played like a dream. The double jazz style pick ups are very punchy and tones can easily be dialed in from gritty to warm. The neck is very fast and responds well to expressive play. I opted for the tiger eye and the fit and finish are excellent. It's a beautiful guitar! Overall I'd say this bass compares to basses that cost hundreds of dollars more. I intend to gig with this bass every weekend.

What is your overall opinion of this product? A fantastic beginning five string-I've been playing a four string for years and decided it was time to try something new-I wasn't looking to spend a lot but I didn't expect such good quality for such a low price!
