Been using these as our mains with a 118 sub for about 4 years. We beat the crap out of them...they dont break, they are light and easy to carry and sound great night after night. Cheap, Lightweight, Durable, Dependable These are clean, clear and punchy, use a x-over and a 118 sub...you can't beat it

What else can you say about Peavey? Quality speaks for itself! This speaker is awesome! We are using them as monitor speakers and they reproduce the sound of our vocals PERFECTLY! Just take them out of the box, plug them in and get ready for some awesome sound! True tone and sound with this speaker!

Light and Loud

Very well made. I expect this speaker to last a lifetime. And if the low frequency or high frequency driver were to break, they are cheap to replace. Very light weight. Good louds. I might change out the woofer to a more powerful woofer later on. A 1000 watt or maybe even a 2000 watt Black Widow. That's what the Peavey Impulse Series has lol. Just plug it in and play. If this speaker is used on the floor it creates a little bit of bass. But i would prefer to use these with at least one subwoofer on the floor.

I have had many Peavey Products over the years and these seem as well made as any of them. I could have bought these speakers locally for the same price but the extended warranty and free shipping sealed the deal with AMS. Light weight, small package, crisp sound. Nice flat response over 100 Hz. They are easy to use, they are speakers. Sound is a little light in the loafers as far as low frequencies, but that's what I expected and that's why I use them with subwoofers. They have a nice crisp sound.

Good quality. I CHECKED OUT ALL THE SPEAKER COMPANYS. I WAS LOOKING FOR LIGHT WEIGHT AND WANTED TO KEEP THE PRICE DOWN AND STILL GET GOOD QUALITY FOR VOCALS. PEAVEY HAS IT ALL. IF YOU WANT PAY THREE TIMES THE MONEY AND GET TWO TIMES THE WEIGHT GO FOR IT. IM GONA STICK WITH THE PEAVEYS. THERE GREAT IM SO GLAD I BOUGHT THEM Lightweight, great sound, and its Peavey. I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THINK Very easy. Great tone, could use a bit more bass but overall I'm happy with the sound. NICE CLEAN SOUNDS- VERY SATISFIED

The best you can buy

These things are so light and handle plenty of power...I have a pair of pr12 for mains and pr10 for vocal monitors...the best money I have ever spent. We are giging every weekend and packing these in to my Trailblazer with a 1/2 stack is no problem at all... buy them. Lightweight and VERY Sturdy...these are not cheaply made at all...you could throw them off of the back of a moving truck and besides scratches they will be fine uh...plug them in... Very crisp and clean...I use these with a carvin mixer and crown power amp...when I got them I had to set my EQ flat and they sounded perfect...have not touched it since...

Superb value in an ultra-lightweight speaker.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
A very good quality product. Fit & finish were perfect, and they seem solidly built in spite of their incredibly light weight.

FEATURES:
These feature a molded-in pole mount socket on the bottom, as well as flying point inserts for hanging. I like the handles on top (you can easily carry two at once!) and the side handles are perfectly placed for placing the speakers on stands. There are two parallel 1/4" jacks for chaining two together. Very well designed.

EASE OF USE:
The extreme light weight and overall design of these speakers make them a real pleasure to use.

VALUE:
A superb value. Very glad I bought them. Considering their sound quality, and high power handling capability (400 watts RMS/800 watts peak) you could spend more and get a lot less. They're even American-made, which is surprising at this price point.

SOUND:
Crystal-clear with great mids & sparkling highs. I hooked them up to

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Very cheaply made, speakers are not of very good quality, flat sounding, cabinets are nice, and very light, but, they also scratch very easy .

FEATURES:
Good features are light speaker cabs and design, Bad no speakon outputs, cheap speaker quality.

EASE OF USE:
Really easy to set up, due to lightweight cabs[ on stands] 1/4 plug in, but, speakers are not easy on the ears[ hollow, flat sounding].

VALUE:
They are cheap, but not what i expected from a Peavey Product.

SOUND:
Really flat, hollow, no bass action at all, may be good for a lecture or giving a speech, but not for live sound,Djing, or karaoke...

This is the reason I am doing this review. Buy the Peavey 15N speakers. These 12's are not sound worthy. Their 15's are very good.
