Super light weight

Very solid cabinet. Light weight and built to take a tumble.
Very lightweight, good power handling, built-in crossover
Easy to use as intended, two 1/4 input jacks. The built-in crossover is way too high ( 140hz or so ) I run it with an external crossover set between 60-80 otherwise it gets pretty muddy but useable. Tried it parallel with no crossover with a pair of PR12N tops and it was ok but WAAAAY better when bi-amped.
Sounds good for its size. Develops some port noise when pushed really hard. Seems to be happy around the 300w level rather than a 600w level. One of these with throw a kick drum into a smallish room ( 50-75 people ) no problem. Any larger venue than that, use 2 or run something bigger ( heavier )

Peavey PR SUB PA Subwoofer

Well built. Have owned for 2 years so far no problems.
Light weight. I have a pickey drummer that likes to hear the bass drum and guitar at all times.
Plug in and go.
It is okay to an level. If you want really big boom out from, you would probably be happier with the 18" Peaveys. I run one set of these behind the band, and one set of the 18's out front. It gives a little extra, of course you have to lug more also.

Little Box, Big Boom

The RRSub met my every expectation. I purchased as a scratch and dent item, and while the box and shipping material was beat up, the unit inside was in like new condition. No rattles, no sub par hardware, just Peavey quality through and through.
1/4" connectors met my needs, but it would have been nice to have Speakon connections as well. The built in cross over was a plus as it will do until I can afford an active crossover and bi-amp the system.
Ready to go right out of the box. Plug in, turn on, and ready to rock.
Considering the passive crossover, the PRSub adds a touch more oomph to the system, which becomes even more obvious as the volume goes up. To truly make the best use of the sub, the system should be bi-amped with more power supplied to the subs than the mains in order to get that chest pounding thump, but without splitting ears.

Not Bad Peavy

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
This product was made well.
FEATURES:
I like the built in cross over. It gives the sub deeper bass
EASE OF USE:
it's a speaker. just plug a 1/4 inch in it. However, the weight is a plus. It is very light. In fact, I volunteer to carry the sub.
VALUE:
The price has went up since I purchased it. I feel I got my money's worth. I don't have to carry the heavy 18 inch yamaha around for small gigs
SOUND:
Sound is pretty good. It adds that extra bass

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
Good quality. Peavey is dependable, and if you don't abuse it, it'll treat you well for a long time. I found that it looks more impressive than I'd thought. The look beefy, especially to the people who don't really know what they're looking at
FEATURES:
Main feature I appreciate is the weight, or lack thereof. 1/4" jacks only - all I need. Crossover is a nice feature for me.
EASE OF USE:
Try this trick, if you've got light mains to go with these. I took the rubber feet of and put them on the top, then I flipped the grill over so the emblems are upside down, then flipped the whole thing over. Now the vent it at the bottom and the pole mount is on the top. I put the pole in and mounted the light mains on top, and it looks awesome; kind of a "mirror image" thing. The sub looks better like this even if you don't put a main on top, instead of looking like a two-way at first glance. I'm not sure how stable it would be wit
