I was looking for a new cab to push with a vintage trace elliot head. I'm normally a 15" player but was looking for something a little more defined while staying fairly compact and portable. 210s dont have the volume I need, where as 410s I just never cared for. A 212 cab is a great middle ground for definition and lows. Its a little larger than expected but bass cabs need volume in order to produce lows and not shread the speakers. Did some reach on this model and I'm glad I chose it. 900watts is more than ill ever need. Band practice I keep my 150watt head on 2 and its over powering the drummer with gut shaking lows. It has one of the best tweeters out there to keep a little crispness on my costumes or when I'm using a fretless. Handles drop c tuning like its designed to do. Most likely will order a second one in the future to enclose the stage on live gigs.

It is a little dark sounding but my test is to play music through speakers and most bass speakers sound like crap when you do that but these actually sound very good. And playing bass through them they really show what they are all about . Very smooth and responsive from the lows through the upper Mids and Highs to taste with the tweeter control.
