Awesome Amp!
Quality:
Seems very well made. The handle seems like it may not hold up. But we will see.
Sound:
I was very suprised by the tone. Once I tweaked a few of the presets, it sounded fantastic. THe clean channels are WAY better than I expected. AND, when I plug it into my 4x12 Marshall cab, it SCREAMS! I used it like that at a gig this past week and I loved it. I will most likely gig like that from now on.
Reliability:
Seems well built. Shouldnt have issues with durability.
Overall:
I have been playing a Marshall Half stack for a long time, and took a chance on this amp, and I am glad I did. So far, it sounds great, and I believe it will suit all my needs.

This amp has so much potential. I have been able to get so many different tones from it. I bought the Sanpera1 pedal with it so I could use it more effectively on stage. It works great for me. I would gig anywhere with it.
Finish:
As for the "fangs", I took them off. It looks much better without them.

Vyypyr... not bad
Quality:
Build wise, it's like a tank. Very heavy too. I only have a few dings in the tolex so far. I've had to replace the fuse and when I did, I also replaced the tubes though I kept them as spares.
Sound:
You can get a multitude of sounds out of this but you need the Sanpera pedal to do it properly. The one issue that everyone complains about is the lack of adjustability of the noise gate and I agree... it can be annoying sometimes.
Reliability:
This has locked up on me a few times as the Vypyr line in general is known for. The fuse blew once as well and it sort of "browned out" on me prior to the fuse blowing. Being that it has digital effects, the software can crash and lock it up sometimes.
Overall:
I've owned this for almost 2 years now. I've practived with it and played out with it. It gets the job done and does it well.
Playability and Feel:

Tone:
With all the different models of amps and effects built into this, you can get just about anything. I build patches specifically for songs.
Finish:
the amp looks great. There is storage in the back of the cabinet as well which is a plus. I keep extra fuses, a USB cable, MIDI to USB converter, and some spare AUX and GUITAR cables.

Variety!
Quality:
Dont know that I would gig with this, but definitely great for practice and bedroom jamming.
Sound:
So ive had tube amps until this - had to get something with headphones so wouldnt disturb my young kids. I was quite shocked (in a good way) by the clean tones, and my favorite so far is the plexi model with a tube screamer. Really sounds like a cranked up Marshall. Great for rocky blues type stuff like the black crowes, etc... So I would say considering the price and size of this versus a wall of tube amps, you just cant go wrong.
Reliability:
Only had about 2 weeks but none of the "lock up" problems I had read about. So far so good.
Overall:
Great for jamming with tunes and the bedroom rock star. amazing flexibility to get any sound.

AMAZING AMP!!!
Quality:
Absolutely a high quality product with all of the modern innovations and features you could want.
Sound:
You can create any tone you want on this amp and I always seem to get the sound I'm looking for with a little practice and trial-and-error. Once you figure it out, the result is always awesome.
Reliability:
This is a solid amp, but it is heavy. I wouldn't go lugging it around all the time by the handle on the top. I have only had it for a week but I use common sense and take extremely good care of my things, so it will last for a long, long time.
Overall:
This amp plays a never-ending diversity of effects and sounds extremely well. If you are willing to spend the money on this amp, then make sure to buy the Sanpera II Footswitch and a high quality axe to go with it. You also need to learn how to use this amp. I've had it for a week and I am slowly getting the hang of it by using the manual and practicing. It sure is better than buying multiple footpedals with cords and still not getting the total sounds/effects control that you need.
Playability and Feel:
It plays and feels according to how you set it. You need to be someone who reads carefully, remembers what they read and it helps to be a little tech savvy to master this thing. If you can get there, it's everything you could want in an amp for your home or small gig needs.
Tone:
Set it how you want it.
Finish:
I have read some reviews about "defanging" the amp. No offense, but some people focus on all the wrong things in their reviews. The amp looks awesome and is fully loaded. The tubes make the sound incredible. It's kicks plenty of sound for a home or small gig environment. You can connect a cabinet with 4 - 12's if you want to add some extra sound.

Amps Great, Bat Wings Silly, Free Pedal Takes 6 Weeks to Recv
Quality:
Very good (except the plastic fangs).
Sound:
Almost a Fender, plus great variations and modeling
Reliability:
So far so good. I have a 30 year-old Peavey (160 Watts) that is still cranking.
Overall:
Good, solid Peavey Product - well thought-out
Playability and Feel:
Easy to Use, slightly larger than the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe
Tone:
Excellent, easy to vary.
Finish:
Very good, except for the "Fangs" on the grill, that look like Bat wings (a few screws and they are gone)
Action:
N/A. The controls are very logical, however.

Vypyr 60 Rocks Even Better after it is "De Fanged"
Quality:
Solid so far.
Sound:
Excellent tone. You will need a Sanpera 1 or 2. Don't like the looks of the 2 (again, too Batman-ish) but they are both easy to use, and rugged (got the free 1 by sending in a form on the AMS site).
Reliability:
So far, so good. I have a 30 year-old Peavey Mace that is like a rock.
Overall:
Great value for the price. Slightly larger than the 1x12 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Removed the "Batman" fangs from the front - 4 screws; replaced it with black rubber door weather stripping.
Playability and Feel:
Controls are in logical sequence, easy to use and edit.
Tone:
Modeling of amps is pretty much spot on.
Finish:
Covering is fine. Prefer metal grills, but the quality is fine.
Action:
N/A (Easy to understand, however).

My New Peavey Vyper Tube 60 Rocks!
Quality:
My initial impression is that this amp is well made. Appearance is on a par with other well known amps I have owned.
Reliability:
Too soon to tell just yet, so will reserve judgement until I have owned it for a year or so.
Overall:
I love the versatility of this amp. When in the Hot Rod Deluxe amp mode, sounds as good if not better than my HRD!
Playability and Feel:
Weighs about the same as my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe...about 50 pounds.
Tone:
great sound high to low ranges and everything in between.
Finish:
Not fantastic, but not bad either. Was slightly dinged in shipment by the gorillas in the cargo loading area of UPS. Wish someone would tell them not everything they ship is samsonite luggage.
Action:
I wish the control panel was on top instead in front of the amp...oh well, can't have everything.
