General Your general opinion of this product. I've been using a 2" strap w/ no padding...I am so much happier w/ this strap....The padding doesn't cover the entire strap I I don't sling my guitar around...so a bit more padding would have been better Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? It's very well made....the quality of the materials is excellent Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It's comfortable....perfect width and easy to get at the knobs Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? n/a Action How was the action out of the box? n/a Finish How did the stain or paint job look? n/a Reliability How has it stood up over time? Its new :-)

General Your general opinion of this product. After a recent purchase of a new bass, I decided I needed at least a new strap to go with it. Since the bass is pretty beefy (which I like in a bass,) and I've used various Planet Waves products in the past with satisfaction, I decided to give this a shot. I'm glad I did. As soon as I put it on the bass, it was like it was lightweight. It definitely does what it claims to do. It won't dig into your shoulder after a long session, and it's wide enough to where it won't bunch and twist around like narrower straps can. Because it is wider, it may take some getting use to, if you use narrower straps. Once you do and it breaks in, you may not want to go back to them. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? It seems to be well made and quite durable. I haven't heavily gigged with it yet, so I'm not sure how it will hold out in the long run. It seems to be just as well made as other straps I've had that lasted for years, so I'm not too worried. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It's a little stiff when you first put it on, but after wearing it for awhile, it's broken in and quite comfortable. The padding is pretty soft and not scratchy feeling, like most nylon straps can be, sometimes. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Well, since it's comfortable, I imagine it will help your tone quite a bit by helping your playing comfort with your instrument. Action How was the action out of the box? I'm able to adjust it to my specifications without issue, so I'd say the action is fine. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Just your basic black strap. It works for me, but if you want hot pink fur or zebra stripes, you'll have to look elsewhere. It only comes in one flavor. Reliability How has it stood up over time? So far, so good. Like I said before, I've been quite happy with Planet Waves products, so I'm pretty confident this will do the job.

General Your general opinion of this product. At first I didn't like this strap because of the width, like 4 inches or so. But with a 10 pound guitar I quickly became accustomed to it. NOw that its broke in I really dig it. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Had it for 6 months, used every day. NO problems. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Feels comfortable once broken in. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? It's still black and red. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Great

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Good quality. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Just but it, so don't know. General Your general opinion of this product. This is a great strap for a heavy guitar like a Les Paul or an Epiphone SG that is top heavy. It provides good balance and the padding keeps it from moving around. Nice looking, too. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Action How was the action out of the box?
