Product Rating Product Review I own a lot guitars, Gibson, Fenders and others this is my favorite. Playability, comfort and ease of changing strings is great. It sounds phenomenal, the push pull pots give a wide range of tones. It is expensive but worth it.

Product Review When you purchase a PRS you are purchasing a piece of art. This guitar is not only stellar to look at but the attention to detail in its craftsmanship is out of this world. The moment I opened the box this guitar spoke to me, it inspires me everyday to be creative and to play harder than I did the time before. The McCarty 594 sounds amazing on all tones. It truly is an amazing instrument.

Product Review I own an original 1959 les paul custom, the black one, not the one worth $500,000 but never the less a great guitar and I would have to say I love playing this guitar whether it’s Joe Banamassassa, John Mayer or Jimmy Page scales.

Product Review There is a lot of hype around the 594. From the tone, the scale length, the low wind pickups, the sustain- it’s all there as advertised. It pulls off single coil sounds better than every other coil split guitar that I have, and I have a few. The Humbucker sounds are very clear and sweet. I plugged it straight in to my Peavey Classic 30 and i was almost immediately taken into Allman Bros territory. The craftsmanship from PRS is just second to none. The word that ran through my head when I unboxed it was “exquisite”. The neck is very comfortable and not at all chunky or baseball bat-like. I can’t recommend this guitar enough

Product Review This guitar is everything I had hoped for but BEWARE. The pattern vintage neck is not for players with smaller hands. It’s not baseball bat like but it is beefy. That’s my only complaint. PRS guitars in general sound a bit thin. NOT THIS ONE. If you have average to large hands, you will love this guitar. Sounds great, plays great, looks great.

The best Les Paul inspired guitar I have ever played, with special tricks up its sleeve.

Product Review Concept: This guitar was designed to be a double cutaway version of a VINTAGE Les Paul, with PRS build quality, intonation, playability, and attention to detail. It is designed with late 50's spec pickups providing slightly lower output and vintage voicing. Reality: PRS has hit a home run with this guitar accomplishing all the above while including some its own "mojo". This is my new favorite guitar. My guitar was shipped the same day I ordered it from AMS (as have all my previous orders over the last seven years) and arrived at my door on time. Upon initial inspection, I could not find any defects at all and the top looked better than the photo. -I ordered the "Mcarty Sunburst" finish and it is not as red around the edge as it appeared it the photo, (it looks more like the color chart at the PRS website), so I knew that going in. It is a step above it terms of workmanship even from my previous 8 PRS guitars. Tone: lots of options, not one sounds bad. Great for everything!! BUY ONE
