It provides exactly what you need, so it's an awesome starter kit, but I definitely recommend getting some studio monitors to make mixing songs WAY easier. How playable do you consider this product to be? It's really easy to jump in and record quickly, and also very easy to figure out. Sound How is the tone? I must admit I'm not great at mixing, but at times I feel like I want more bass or more of one particular instrument that's not really coming out, but for the most part it sounds good Reliability How has it stood up over time? Great! Overall Your general opinion of this product. This was really my first piece of recording equipment & I've built up my studio around it. If you're not planning on recording a bunch of instruments at once then this is great.
