General What is your overall opinion of this product? I own a Paul's Guitar in Quilt wood Library and absolutely love. This is my second PRS and I was not let down at all, in fact I was blown away by the crisp to good and dirty range I got with this rig. Beautiful finish and subtle grains in the wood were awesome. The deep red is perfect! I now have E two PRS rigs that I truly love playing as well as looking at. Take the step and GET SOME! You won't be disappointed! Ktmkraig Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? Outstanding, but it's what I expected from PRS. Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is exactly the same as my Paul's guitar but with a glossy finish instead of the satin. Tone How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin? Wide range of tones wit the three way switch, crisp all the way to dirty. Very clean sound such I love to hear on long sustain riffs. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Subtle grain under the nitro finish. It looke even better with the use of PRS guitar polish compound. Beautiful deep red color. Stunning in the rigt light. But once againg that's what I expect with any PRS of this price tag. Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? Already answered that :) Playability How was the action out of the box? RIPPS, simply RIPPS.
Great player, I would buy another Prs.

General What is your overall opinion of this product? At first I thought a lot to pay for an overseas piece.. but after playing it live it shined!! Very nice.. Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? Quality you would expect from PRS. I am able with the use of various pedals dial in a number of different tones to match blues, rock, fusion, or praise and worship. Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Perfect weight fast neck and easy to reach controls.. Love the shape and feel of this neck. Tone How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin? I would lean toward bright and snappy.. with the coil tap you can find many tones.. crunchy humbuckers, bright single coil and all between. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Beautiful!! Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? I feel like I got what I paid for.. 1400 is the same cost as many american made products, however I have owned many guitars and this is in my favorites.. Playability How was the action out of the box? Just tuned and played live the next morning.. excellent!

General What is your overall opinion of this product? What can I say... I LOVE THIS GUITAR!!! I own LP's, Fenders, Ibanez and BC Rich electrics and this one trumps them all. Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? The quality is excellent right down to the hand painted serial number. Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It feels smooooth. The neck has a shape unlike my other guitars and it's amazing. The body with the tapered edges feels so comfortable while playing. Tone How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin? Wow. It sounds amazing. Most people think the LP is the most versatile guitar but with the coil tap on this PRS you can dial in any sound you want quicker and much easier than an LP. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? It's beautiful. When I first got it I just looked at it in the light and couldn't believe how stunning it looks. I have the black cherry finish and the color blends and gloss make this guitar a piece of art. Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? PRS guitars are not cheap and that's what kept me from getting one for a long time. With this new series you get an American made guitar at a reasonable price. It's no wonder so many professionals have switched from LP's to PRS. Playability How was the action out of the box? With a few turns on the tuners this baby rocked. Even with the use of the tremolo it does not go out of tune. I love the locking tuners. They are so much nicer and easier to use than a Floyd Rose.

General What is your overall opinion of this product? This is my third American made PRS, and they never cease to amaze me. Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? Top notch quality. Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Feels like a dream. Tone How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin? I love the different tones this guitar can produce. It's bright and crisp when I want, or warm and creamy. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I love the grey black finish. Very tasteful. Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? I don't think there is a similar guitar out there at the same price point that comes close to the S2 in value. Playability How was the action out of the box? Everything about the S2 was perfect right out of the box.
