Overall:	QUALITY: Looks great I like the new Color... and Love the new Power connection the screw lock is a lifesaver... Solid and I have never had a problem with Presonus... FEATURES: Well its a big upgrade from the Firepod..or the 896. The console makes it easy to route a seprate mix to the drummer (with click) also being able to lable the mixes and save them to disk is great... EASE OF USE: Had it up and running in minutes with out looking at the manual.... VALUE: Well its got 8 great preamps... Zero Clock Jitter and the outputs sound great.. all for 699$ SOUND: Sounds great... the Preamps are way above average in this price range...at least as good as the Mackie.. Way better than the MOTU 896 it replaced... and the output DAC's are clean and Jitter Free.... I just ordered 2 Digimax FS's to go with it....

Overall:	QUALITY: This is a sold product. Built really well. I love the power and the inputs on the front makes it easy to connect cables. I expect this will last for a long time. FEATURES: The Routing software is really easy to work with and enables the user to send up to 9 different mixes. Comes with some decent software for the first timers just getting into recording. Cubase Le is very limited, I never even bothered to install it. I use it with Digital Performer 5.11 on an Imac with Intel. Works very smooth. EASE OF USE: Its a breeze to set up and get going in just a few minutes I was recording. VALUE: It's worth the price for the quality and sound. Would not pay more for it though. SOUND: The sound is remarkable. Preamps sound so good with no colouring. Latency is not a problem at all. Nice amount of headroom gain on inputs and outputs are nice.
