Subject:This Product is the BEST!
Quality: Great quality-looks like it is going to be dependable
Features: Being able to integrate the songs from the old program package to this program package
Ease of Use: Relatively easy to pick up and adapt to-my husband was mixing songs from his old program to this new program by dinner time.
Sound: Execellent
Reliability: Just received it-it appears that it will hold up just as well as the old program did.
Overall: This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He LOVED it!! It is relatively easy to follow and works with VISTA. This program was able to integrate all the songs he had previously recorded from XP with no hassle. Money well spend-ALL are HAPPY!!!!

Subject:Great buy from beginner to expert
Quality: Seems solid, knoobs are tight, pres don't feel loose at all. stays solid on the rack-mounts.
Features: The only reason I marked this down is because it's not Pro-Tools friendly. I realize this is 50% pro-tools for being proprietary, but a big name like presonus oughtta deal with the industry standard. Other than that, the features are awesome. Audio buses are responsive, I like having the levels right there, as well as being able to change the mix/monitor balance. And you can't beat the software suite that it came with. Unless youre a professional engineer, Cubase LE 4 will get you started, and upgrading to Cubase Studio 4 is like 100 bucks on steinberg's site. Something you should know: Cubase LE wont directly connect to Reason adapted. This was a policy decision from steinberg; you can't run ReWire on LE. Also BFD plugin and Drumagog are both trial versions.
Ease of Use: Like I said in the Overall opinion, this thing is easy to jump right into and learn the software. A couple of hours with cubases walkthrough and I was recording 4 guitar tracks, 6 drum tracks, bass, vocals and adding onboard effects to everything!!!
Sound: Great! No complaints so far
Reliability: Ill tell you after a little more time, but it hasn't broken after two weeks
Overall: Bottom line is that if youre a beginner, this is a great way to be introduced to digital recording. And cheap too. It's good enough to go with if youre a pro, too!
