The preamps are great, especially in this price range and the included Universal Control software has been a dream come true for me. It allows up to 3 completely seperate mixes (Main Out, Headphone Out, and SPDIF Out). I am part of a 3 piece band, so this is great for allowing us each an individual monitoring mix. The software is more capable than I make use of as signals can be routed in/out of your DAW to different channels in the virtual mixers. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? Pretty freaking easy to use. Plug in one FW cable and you're good, Dont forget to start Universal Control though. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This unit has impressed me and I have since been looking into various other Presonus products because this unit is very good quality and has always just worked. I do wish there was a manual for Universal Control as I would really like to dive in a bit deeper there, but it is quite useable without one. Value Was this item an overall good value? My band is using the presonus to allow us to quantize our live performance with ableton. We send one output with a click track to the drummer's headphones, and send a main output without a metronome to the house. It has worked great so far. It also allows our keyboard player to stop relying on his computer's headphone jack as an output! Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? We are still troubleshooting a few issues- occasional popping sounds through our PA... Sometimes our computer has trouble running two DAWs simultaneously (Mainstage + Ableton). But, aside from these two issues, we have basically been able to plug in and play. Overall Your general opinion of this product. a reasonably priced versatile recording and live performance solution. I can use it as my default audio instead of having to use my green audio jack. I hate switching my headphones from one jack to another just to use an audio interface. Also the Presonus Universal Control software is easy to set up. It's a decent value, wished it was cheaper since this has been around for a long time. 50 bucks off is not enough. Should have been $199.

Set your gain level and your monitor levels and your good. Value Was this item an overall good value? Awesome value. I would've liked to owned some of the higher end interfaces, but for my current situation of being away from home a lot, this is great.

This is a great value for the low $ and would recommend it to anyone! I would by from AMS any day! I rated it a 4 because initially I tried to get it working on the friday night (no luck). The weekend on Saturday I happened to get ahold of ams tech support the which was available out of the ordinary on a saturday afternoon which was very helpful. We got it resolved. Thank You!
