Product Rating What is your opinion of this product? I had fairly high expectations for this guitar, because the PRS SE line has a great reputation for being very well-made imports. But I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this guitar. It may sound like a cliché, but it really was perfectly set up right out of the box. I thought I would surely have to tweak the neck, adjust the intonation, or do something to it once it was in my hands. But no. I tuned it up, plugged it it in, and played. I took it to band rehearsal the same night and it stayed in tune the whole night. The pickups are very articulate; the guitar is very responsive to picking dynamics, as well. And since I picked it up for less than 500 bucks as a "Weekly Big Deal," I couldn't be happier.

What is your opinion of this product? First, I should mention that I do own and use all the Santana I, II and III models, plus one Santana Private Stock. I have to be honest and admit to say I was a bit worried purchasing this Santana SE (Santana Yellow) guitar for a $709.00 affordable price tag. This Santana SE guitar has some pretty big shoes to fill and stand up to my USA PRS Santana arsenal. Well, on the first day of arrival, I was shocked how beautiful the finish was from top to bottom, and even the flame maple veneer was perfect!!! Very same day of arrival, I had to put it through the test straight into band rehearsal. I didn't change the strings, I simply tuned the guitar and didn't have to do much of any set up. I though if I didn't like the looks, tone and playability, I would just put back in the box and ship it back the next day. Well to my surprise I was blown away by this guitars performance and tone, played through a Mesa Boogie Mark III series combo amp. The guitar is a real keeper to my arsenal.

What is your opinion of this product? As a left handed guitarist this was the only double cutaway guitar PRS had,for less than $4000.00. easy to flip over cutting the nut took a little but I got it done, The neck needed a 1/4 turn on the trus rod a small adjustment, changed the strings ASAP, the neck pickup could be a little warmer, very good over all guitar, Hey AMS talk to PRS about this Left handed guitarists need a resource too,and more colors other than BLACK and RED,

What is your opinion of this product? A great value. My third PRS SE guitar, the other two being a Torero and a Custom 24 Anniversary. All are different, and all were great values. The strings were lousy so insta-replaced w/ NYXL's. Pickups are so-so to okay, they lack character/muddy growl; we will see if they stay with time. I wish it had come with locking tuners, trem arm is floppy. Those are the (pretty weak) cons, the only surprise was the pickups. Pros: neck was perfect, action was perfect, nice height on frets, finish was perfect, weight is lighter than expected, but good. Overall, it is fun and fulfilling to play, and any cons are pretty trivial to correct. It's a keeper. I don't know why I would spend 4-5X for a 'real' PRS, but time will tell. I am happy with this purchase.
