General Your general opinion of this product. At first i was hesitating getting this mixer, and after a lot of research and asking a lot of questions i went for it, and let me tell you this thing i amazing. there is a little learning curve but its not bad at all. Ive used analog for a very long time and the experience I've had with digital boards was not good. but This one sounds great. that was one of the main issues for me. at the end of the day it doesn't matter how many features you have, if it don't sound good it does no good. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? As it is right now its sitting in my home studio so i have not been able to take it on a gig yet, but from what i see and feel it seems to be very well made. the only thing i would change it the type of material used on the faders. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Its quite easy to get used to, the fat channel is a heck of a lot intuitive. it does not feel as digital as i thought i would. setting up was a breeze, i used it with Pro Tools 9, studio one 2, LogicX and its easy to set up as long as you understand the routing of each program. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? FAT channel is the best feature of this board compared to the X32 this thing is easier to use and understand. Sound How is the tone? its great the sound is amazing, gets very nice response to every small tweak. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have only had it for a couple of weeks so cant say how it does over time, but seems to be well made.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Initially I was concerned because of the plastic look. But this thing is tight. I've checked the screws and it is very well made. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I've already mentioned the built in EQ's and Compressors. That's a big savings right there. They're on every channel. Can't beat it. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? I've had this console since December. I rent rehearsal space and do 3 to 5 bands per week. When I got it I had 2 days to read the manual, set it up and get ready for the next rehearsal. It was really is to do. I owned a YAMAHA mg 32 with compressors, and EQ's. I sold all that stuff a couple months later. Didn't need it anymore. The Presonus had everything built in. very nice and efficient. compressors on each channel...ohhh. EQ on each channel...Ohhh. and even 10 GEQ's to use...Ohhh. One of the main things I like is 10 Aux's and 8 GEQ's. I can put monitors all over the place in the studio for everyone. I am so excited I am about to order another one from AMS to use strictly for percussion. The easy payment plan they offer really makes it nice. I forgot about recording. right now I'm direct from the board to a CD or digital recorder and it is so clean, unbelievable. About to upgrade my computer so I can take advantage of the software that comes with the console. Thanx Presonus/AMS. Sound How is the tone? whewwwww!!!!. I run guitars, bass, percussion, keys, horns, vocals, synth, very loud. Head room and tone is incredible, saving and locking the sounds you've adjusted is really easy and easy to find so you can use them over and over again. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Only had it a few months. I use it everyday. No probs. General Your general opinion of this product. Overall it's great. excellent piece of gear.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very sturdy ! Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The FAT channels and the AUX sends for personal mixes is great! It doesn't effect the actual recording so you don't have to worry about clipping as you record. The inputs can be high but the AUX sends allows you to control your own mix. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? It did not take long to learn to use the board at all. At first it seems a little overwhelming and you will work the board as a standard mixer. After watching a few videos I was up and going in less than a week for my first project. Sound How is the tone? Sound quality is fabulous! Reliability How has it stood up over time? I only have had this board for about 1 month. General Your general opinion of this product. This is a great purchase. You'll save thousand because everything is built in. It would have been nice to have motorized faders but I understand that to keep the overall cost down it was a sacrifice. On the other hand, if you have a quality product then price won't matter and this is a quality product. Also, it would be nice on the software-universal control and capture, to be able to keep the settings of each track. Each time you start a new session, you have to rename the names of each track.
