General What is your overall opinion of this product? Everyone says the same thing when you purchase a guitar for under 500.00 bucks, expressing how the guitar was worth the Cost. Yea, that's usually why the value is set so low to begin with. I purchase on average 6 Guitars a year. I played the PRS Santana and fell in Love a while ago. I Purchased the Santana model 3 months before I purchased this PRS Tremonti SE and that is why I posted as low as I did regarding Stars. I will say that if I had purchased this guitar first I would have given it more but I was spoiled with the Santana model. PRS Santana was only 100.00 + more but man was that worth the extra cash because I can't find a guitar at or around 500.00 that plays like it. Overall PRS is a great guitar even though it's Manufactured in Korea it's still American Quality Specs and I would put it up against the Gibson SG I purchased recently for 900.00 made in another Country or my Fender Strat I got in NOv for 700.00 made in Mexico. Its all relative to the Feel and Sound. Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? Nice Sound, without getting into detail I love the feel and the look of this guitar. The Grey and Black upgrade maybe the way to go in my opinion, I would pay the extra dollars for the upgrade Finish and probably more. But if you can't afford to go much more than 522.00 this is a good buy Quality speaking. Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Great feel with only one exception: I was disappointed in the Neck. The frets didn't seem to be smooth enough and like my Gibson SG they were a little extended and could use a manicure. Tone How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin? I haven't had the chance to open her up just yet and play like I would like so its hard to say now. At low to mid Volume its not bad at all. I was jamming some old school Led Zep on it when I got it and the sound was spot on. No complaints thus far to offer. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Nice Finish and body, Just one Color with no in grain or added colors so it's plain but has a great Glossy look which reflects nicely. Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? Yes, it is worth the cost and more. Nicely priced for this Model. Playability How was the action out of the box? PRS is 2 for 2 this year right out the Box. Now that is a good thing when you can play right out the box and it doesn't require a trip to the repair shop to get set up. My Gibson was not set up well and the intonation was terrible and couldn't be fixed at the local auth dealer; what a mess that can grow into with 100.00 return to Gibson to pay for Shipping. So PRS has been good to me. Stays in Tune nicely No issues other than the Frets to mention. I think when I get that worked out it's going to play just as well as the Santana Model, we shall see. To be continued.
LOVE THIS GUITAR!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Great action and ready to play right out of the box. I did need to change the strings, they were a bit too "rubbery" for me, but other than that, it's fantastic. General Your general opinion of this product. LOVE IT! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The great thing is that the tone is perfect. It's bright but not to tinny. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? This is a beautiful axe.
Plays like 3 x the price. A clear challenge to Gibson and ESP

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I currently own a GIBSON Les Paul and the build quality of this guitar surpasses even it. Flawless finish, bird inlays and construction make this guitar feel and look like one that costs 3 times as much. General Your general opinion of this product. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone wanting a high-quality built guitar at a budget price. The PRS SE Tremonti pickups sound very close to the signature pickups in the USA Tremonti, which cost 5 times as much as this guitar. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Phenomenal. Bright but full, the mahogany body has sustain for days. The PRS SE pickups have great clarity in response, doesn't matter if its a heavy gain channel or a nice clean channel. For my personal tastes, I couldn't be happier. If you like versatility, this is the guitar for you. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Impeccable. Nice glossy and black, it's perfect. Looks great under light, nice and reflective.

I CAN GET A BLUES SOUND AND ALSO A METAL SOUND OUT OF THESE PICK UPS. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? very high quality.. and the gig bag.. are you kidding>? This thing looks extremely expensive.. its a abckpack style gig bag, its heavily padded, not thin at ALL like the usual bags.. this thing looks like it would easily sell for well over 100 dollars separately. General Your general opinion of this product. Pretty d@mn cool rig. Im glad to own a PRS at a price like this. Got sent a version that has the bird inlays as well.. very cool. I did decide to brand mix and throw a Zakk Wylde White Bullseye on this guitar tho.. turned out pretty cool! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? stock pickups are very hot and bright, sounds great tho for a passive rig... i swapped to EMG Zakk Wyldes. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? great paint and finish. Again, i went w a white bullseye graphioc i found out of the UK on ebay. Requires full dissasembly to apply.
