Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? very high quality.. and the gig bag.. are you kidding>? This thing looks extremely expensive.. its a abckpack style gig bag, its heavily padded, not thin at ALL like the usual bags.. this thing looks like it would easily sell for well over 100 dollars separately. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Ive only had a short while, but its a tank. Its not as heavy as a Les Paul which i liked. But it is by no means a dinky guitar. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Pretty d@mn cool rig. Im glad to own a PRS at a price like this. Got sent a version that has the bird inlays as well.. very cool. I did decide to brand mix and throw a Zakk Wylde White Bullseye on this guitar tho.. turned out pretty cool! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The feel with the ernie ball strings i laid on it was far better than the stock strings. The stockers are ok and sounds ok,( well they are good actually, just not what i prefer) but the string tension is so so in a regular tune. The action is great and super easy to adjust. No string buzz, and pretty bendable. I was afraid it would feel like a strat, which is really just a tiny bass guitar if you ask me haha.. ive been playing an ESP Alexi Leiho Flying V w a floyd for a few years.. while this is a different guitar, its equally as playable. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? stock pickups are very hot and bright, sounds great tho for a passive rig... i swapped to EMG Zakk Wyldes. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? great paint and finish. Again, i went w a white bullseye graphioc i found out of the UK on ebay. Requires full dissasembly to apply. Action How was the action out of the box? action out of the box was great. Im used to a Flod trem and this fixed briodge thing is super easy to deal with.. ive had to relearn palm muting on it tho. :(

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This product seems to be very well made. I would put this up against any guitar in it's price range any day of the week. The only thing that I would change is the stoptail bridge that PRS uses on these models. It doesn't allow for adjusting the intonation of your strings. It's a minor inconvenience, but just be forwarned that you may want to replace the pridge with an adjustable stoptail bridge somewhere down the line. Even so, the guitar still plays and sounds great! Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only owned this guitar for about a year now, but it seems to be holding up extremely well to the wear and tear of daily playing. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This is a great guitar. Arguably amoung the best for under $1000. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Plays like a dream. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone is very versatile. I can get tones similar to everything between a Fender strat to a Gibson SG. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Beautiful finish. Action How was the action out of the box? Great.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This product was made with alot of love because to me it feels really good to hold it. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Just bought it 2 days ago. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I have bought a couple of guitar under three hundred and I was a very unhappy man.My main complaint: strings were to hard to press.I wanted a guitar so I went for the six hundred dollar mark.I was very hessitant in buying this PRS.But with the guaranteed of happiness that Americanmusical supply give I figuered I can go wrong. So, I order it and it took two day to get it.I could no t be more happier. The guitar sounds great, feels great and plays very nice. This is what I call a good buy for my money. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It feels light. It not heavy. It does not feel chunky. The is just the way I like it for I have big hands and big fat figuers. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tones are crystal clear on all freds and the strings soft to press. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Beautiful. Action How was the action out of the box? This is the best part.I got this guitar out of the box very careful.Hooked it up to the amp and I notice something;there no ajustment to be made. All of the guitar I have bought needed ajustment specially the string. No ajustment on this guitar.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Well made. Reliability How has it stood up over time? It is new, however, my other PRS has stood the test of time very well. Overall Your general opinion of this product. ...of my Tremonti PRS!! Overall, I have found a great axe. this is my 2nd PRS and a fine guitar. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Feels fast. neck is just right. Controls are easy to get to. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Humbuckers are bright, sharp and hot. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Looks great! Action How was the action out of the box? I took the guitar, in the box, to my guitar guy (Anthony Instrument Repair in Catonsville, Maryland 21228) and he did his magic with his excellent guitar set-up/tune-up. The action is very good, the fret edges are smooth and I'm a happy camper!!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This is a very well designed and constructed instrument with fantastic value. Only gripe is the poor soldering. Oh, and I double - nutted the output jack because it kept coming loose. Should last forever as long as I don't lay it down and step on it! Reliability How has it stood up over time? Bought used and it could have been sold as new! Needed to change the neck PU volume pot right away but who knows how it was treated before? Note: the pots all look a little "cheap", and the soldering sloppy, had a cold solder joint to fix also. Plan on changing them all soon - probably the caps too. (Used to be an electronics tech by trade) Overall Your general opinion of this product. Very nice axe! Can't go wrong with this one, all you really need is here. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Very fast, thin neck. I have smallish hands and it is almost too narrow for me but I have played Gibsons for 32 years. Easy access to the controls but I wouldn't mind having a single set for bout pickups since I usually set everything on '10' anyway. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? This is a somewhat bright sounding axe, with decent sustain and excellent resonance. Pickups are a little hotter than what I would consider "standard", resembling a slightly bright JB-4 set. Could just be the amp, as I use a Marshall 5210 and different amps have different characteristics. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? As I said before, I got this used and it looked perfect! Has the old platinum finish that's not currently offered; takes some getting used to but it grows on you. Finish is flawless; as good as any I've noticed on a production guitar and better than I would have hoped for a Korean made one. Action How was the action out of the box? Action was fine, though someone had put 13-17-20-30-40-50 strings on it! Ouch! Great with 10's but intonation setting was a PITA!
Great Axe!!!

Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? perfect, decent hot pickups. Switching to Tremonti's soon. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? perfect Action How was the action out of the box? Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Quality is very average. I purchased this as a fourth guitar that I could take out of the house without worrying about getting damaged, however I know that there are better guitars for the money out there. (AS A SIDE NOTE * I contacted PRS and talked to their customer service about the hideous nut work ( Cut My Hand on it ) And the rep there was unconcerned and said that I could pay to have it shipped to them and they would look at it, but would'nt say if anything would be done. After about 1 minute of talking to me, he was done. A very bad experience that made me return the guitar and vow never to let price or reviews sway me into purchasing PRS again.) Reliability How has it stood up over time? I only had it for two weeks then sent it back. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I Purchased this based on my experience w/PRS and reviews and was let down. Just a very average electric. I've had nicer epiphones. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? As said before it is nothing special. pretty lightweight and the cut on the body makes it want to slide off your leg if you are sitting down. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? It seemed very brittle, difficult not to get lows that weren't muddy sounding. I am comparing to my Fender Strat and Gibson Les Paul. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The body looks very nice and is finished very well. Action How was the action out of the box? slightly high which is no biggie, but the workmanship at the nut was truly horrendous. If they would just put a nicely formed nut in place of the roughly jagged piece of plastic they claim is a nut at the top of the fretboard it may be acceptable, but this is similar to all the SE's I have played and own.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Once again, it's a PRS. Quality is a 10 on a 10 scale. Paul Smith is a master crafter, the pride of his work and name go into this guitar and it rings true in the Tremonti. I am blown away by the quality! Reliability How has it stood up over time? I just got it today, although this axe bleeds quality. Seems to be built with the most stringent demands in which Paul Smith enforces on all of his guitars. It's a PRS dudes!! Overall Your general opinion of this product. Perfection at it's best. This guitar is an absolute MUST have, for the musician who takes his/her guitar sound serious. The Tremonti has style, and will compliment stage presence even for the greatest of guitar gods. Buy it you will not be disappointed, I LOVE this axe!! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It almost seems like this guitar was setup for me personally, from the fretwork to the neck width. I can rip through my leads with the greatest of ease, and hammer out some killer metal rhythms. It is very light weight in comparison to my Gibby and Ibanez. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Custom PRS pickups are the shiz!! Very Hot when you want Hot, and mellow & smooth on a clean amp channel. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Beautiful finish, I have not found one flaw on this guitar. The binding really compliments the design and look of the Tremonti. Action How was the action out of the box? No need to set up this beast, it was perfect right outta the box. No string buzz or fret hum, perfectly adjusted truss rod. The only string that needed to be tuned was the High E (probably knocked out of tune when it was placed in the gig bag.
