Failure after 1 year - Firmware Failure

The amp worked well, but shortly after a year old during a movie, not being driven hard - the sound output shut off and the screen displayed "firmware failure." I downloaded and updated the firmware thinking a reflash would fix it and it did, for about an hour. The "firmware failure" The output stages are working because when you first power it on, before the firmware warning, it will work and play for about 2 seconds the shut's off. All online research led me to "take amp in for service."

This thing pushes 4-18"subs and just idles along.We use in an outside venue.QSC quality with lots of stuff built in most people never use.super quiet also.will buy again from AMS.

Always go big or go home. I’m running three of these for my mains. And for the first time. They are maxed out. Even with the amp at full output. Zero distortion. Very little heat. Incredible performance. I’m incredibly happy to have decided on these. My JBL’s will rip your head off and stop your heart at max volume. All day everyday. What a workhorse. Only buy these amps for mains if your insane like me. I’m sure they kill smaller subs. You will be more than satisfied with the features. Thrilled with the performance. And tickled by the price.
