I haven't use the aviator 12 on a gig yet, but it runs circles around my present amp. A little pricey, but otherwise great.

I'll give it 5 stars, because it does what Quilter says it will do. It's light, it's loud, and it sounds good. I use it with pedals, but if I had to, I could get by on a job with just the amp. This is the third Quilter I've had. The 210 aviator didn't sound right at higher volumes to me, but that's me. The micro pro 200 head was great, played it for a year on lots of jobs. Get out of the tube vs solid state mentality. I've owned / played all kinds of tube amps. Some were great, some not that great. If you're playing at home, get a nice expensive tube amp. If you're playing jobs, get a Quilter. You just can't beat the convenience. You can tell these things were made for working musicians. Just a good solid product. AMS is also the best in the music retail biz as far as I'm concerned. They have always been great to me.
