If you plan on playing live or recording and you use an Acoustic/Electric, Bass or Keyboard you must use a DI (Direct Input) that sends a balanced signal into the mixing board or computer. You plug your cable that comes out of your guitar into the box and then a balanced XLR cable comes out of the box and goes into the mixing board or interface. I have used every DI that has been made. Cheap ones, expensive ones and embellished ones. There is no better DI then the Green Radial passive DI. Hands down the best one ever made. No change in your sound, no distortion, no clicks or static. The best. Period. Built like a tank. It’s a lifetime purchase. Every engineer will smile when you break out your DI and they see it’s the Passive Radial Green Box. This is a must purchase. The best $100 you will ever spend as a musician. Keyboard players may want to get the stereo version of this Direct Box. You will never regret this purchase.

Just what you'd expect, from a company like Radial! Compact, built like a tank, beautiful looks, and solid functionality!
I am a pro musician, and play upwards of 50 dates per year. I purchased this to ensure that forgetful bassists and acoustic guitarists are always able to be heard.
You won't find a better, more reliable, D.I. in this price range. If you're torn, just pull the trigger on this one...
