Overall the amp sounds great. I play through a processor but this amp sounds crystal clear.
Be sure to buy a 3' Speaker cable with it.
Finish:
A h*ll of a lot better looking than the pic that's for sure. The pic makes it look kind of junky. The one I received was pretty slick looking. And it didn't have the stupid white section for the Master and Reverb. It was all black
Action:
Pretty much Plug & Play... Only takes a matter of minutes to dial in your sound and you're good to go

A little dissapointing that with the cab this comes with will only spit out 100w with this head instead of 120w, but its fime. 100w is more than enough for me

quality is great like i said i havnt had it long but it seems to hold up
Sound:
the tone is tricky, the clean channel is amazing i could dial in my tone for it in no time at all, but the on-board distortion is tricky, you do NOT need a distortion pedal unless you really wanted one. but if you spend the extra time to work with the distortion you will find perfect distorted tone, and the ditortion channel's EQ's are very customable
Reliability:
ive only had this amp for about a month now, but the way its rockin' it'll last a long time
Overall:
well, i needed a half stack because me and my band were starting to get some shows in Nashville and a couple little places around there and i needed a metal amp to make me loud. the amp has proven to be great throughout the tests i give it and it suprises me to find such a great am for this price

Great tone you can dial in any tone you want the distortion is awesome too so versitile. It all sounds very controlled.
Reliability:
So far so good, But my uncle has a 1980s randall is supposed to be the same as this amp and it still is going today. It can take a lot of beating.
Overall:
This is a great amp, sounds awesome Randall makes some of the best amps.

The tone is crazy! very warm with amazeing onboard distortion and reverb. I never thought I'd see the daya solid state sounds this good!Put this head in a rack with a gate and a tuner and your good to go
Overall:
I think this it a great amp for anyone. weather your just starting out or a touring pro you'll love this amp

the controlls are very easy. the clean channel have a very warm tone wile the driven channel will make you throw away all you distortion pedals.

Like I've said, great quality build; Randall makes great amps.
Sound:
Amazing tone, built for metal, but very versatile.
Reliability:
I've only had it for about 11 hours inside my house, but it's built like a tank. Randall makes exceptional quality amps. The retailers sell them for WAY cheaper than what they're worth; great quality.
Overall:
This thing is built like a freakin' tank! It's super sturdy and the casters are very nice quality. The amp is very clean looking and you can get some great tones out of it.
A few things to note:
1. The picture here is wrong; the faceplate on the head is black, meaning it doesn't have that white square.
2. The casters are shown as silver in the picture, when they are black (very nice looking).
3. If you have the footswitch plugged into the back, you can't use the button on the front to switch channels, but if you unplug the footswitch, you can.
Finish:
Tolex (or leather?) on this thing is good, and the grill cloth is very nice as well. Great build overall.

Seems to be built pretty sturdy. We'll see, considering the abuse its about to go thru!
Sound:
Clean channel is bright and full, and adding a processor in front...hmmm. The overdrive seems to lack definition when it come to playing really heavy rectified tones. Not bad, tho, to say the least.
Overall:
This is a workhorse of an amp. I also play thru a Marshall AVT275, but this amp rises, considering the music I play. You can't beat the versatility of the Marshall, but this amp has tons of volume. Coupled to a great stompbox, and all of your wishes are fulfilled!
Playability and Feel:
It has great playability. This isn't a valved amp, so solid state is what it is. Far from mediocre, tho.
Tone:
Again, tonewise, the clean is bright and full; overdrive is punch and deep. If you want to get real good tone out of it, I strongly suggest you get a processor to custom tailor your tone.
Finish:
Flawless. No issues here.
Action:
Everything that was expected from a Randall! Still, did not come with patchcable from head to cab. Be ready to invest a little bit more.

This amp was very nice as to the workman ship. I have not had it but a month, but can get a feel that it will be very dependable.

Overall:
This is one heck of an amp. Plenty of power, that extra 20 Watts makes it rise above all the 100 Watt stacks. Tone is beautiful on the clean chanel, and I don't use the Overdrive, my effect pedals work just fine.
Playability and Feel:
Control panel is very well thought out.
Tone:
Can go from a fat mellow sound, to a metal-screamer.
Finish:
Was great - arived in perfect condition.
Action:
As one person mentioned - order a 3' speaker cable. Does not come with one...weird. Maybe AMS should offer a free Monster cable with the amp!
