Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Rane makes a really good mixer and has been for many years. The other nice thing is they back their products with a pretty good warranty if you register online. Their customer service has been very helpful and if you ever have any questions, they respond on the scratchlive forum fairly quickly. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but the capability to run two laptops is really nice. I really enjoy the built in effects. I had a TTM57SL that was great, but I run videe SL and that takes away from my screen enough, and to have to switch to the harware screen screen to change effect parameters is not always an easy task. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? I have only owned this mixer for a few weeks now and I still have a lot to learn. However, I plugged in at home for about an hour just to figure out the basics and was using in a club that sees about 1500-2000 people on regular night and had no problems. Sound How is the tone? Tone is great. I've heard peiople complain about the tone in other reviews and compare it to a Pioneer. Pioneer mixers are designed totally different. Rane mixers are really flat and you need to adjust your EQ's a lot different than you would on a Pioneer. General Your general opinion of this product. It is a little pricy, as I'm sure a lot of you agree, but once you use this mixer a few times you will forget about the $2600 you've spent on it. Overall it's a great mixer, like everything out there, it will have it's flaws or things that may not be what you expected. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and i must admit, I was a little nervous after ordering. So far, I have nothing bad to say about it. Value Was this item an overall good value? Like I said earlier, $2600 is a lot of money to spend. It is the most money that I've ever spent on a mixer. For me, I look at it as an investment. I DJ 3 nights a week at a very large club and I work a 9-5. I'm not saying that I've got money to blow on all of the latest things, because I don't. All I'm saying is that if you have a regular gig that you are bringing in a steady income, then it's not out of the question. I'm sure that a lot of bedroom DJ's will not be purchasing this mixer. I believe it's aimed more towards the night club resident DJ's.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? so far the quality seems to be solid but I still need more time to tell. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? the best feature is how it talks to Serato and use with Ableton Live. It has a few clitches but nothing a new update can't fix. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? The mixer is pretty easy to use but it does take some getting use too. You really need to read the manual and any online demos becasue there are features the mixer can do that the manual doesn't really explain Sound How is the tone? Tone is ok but I think RANE could have done a better job. General Your general opinion of this product. well over all so far I am ok with the mixer. I did get a defective mixer at first but AMS quickly sent me out a new one. I have read a lot of good and bad reports on the mixer and there are a few things I would have changed and I do think the $2500 price tag is a little high...$2000 would be better. But I have not had the mixer long enough to really give you a solid opinion. I can tell you that I have used it 4 weekends at the club mixing video and I haven't had any problems. Value Was this item an overall good value? Good Value?? well at the moment no but I think with more updates to Serato yes it will be worth it.+
