The Remo Gathering/Floor Drum is an outstanding drum!

This is a wonderful drum! I'd wanted one for over a year but the prices I found were much higher. A friend directed me to American Musical Supply. I was delighted to find the Remo floor drum for such a reasonable price.
Ease of Use:
Anyone can make music with the drum sticks or their hands or fingers and it will sound good and compelling. My little guy and I like to drum together.
Sound:
The tone is excellent either when using drum sticks or hands. It has a rich and wonderful tone. It can be played loudly or softly.
Value:
This is the same instrument used in my little guy's music together class. The class drums are in excellent condition though they have been used for years and been used far more then any personal child's drum would ever be used. This is a drum that will last through many children and continue to produce wonderful sound.
Durability:
This drum must be indestructible since it is the choice of classroom teachers.

Again, the drum feels hefty, well put-together, and sturdy. There's nothing "cheap" feeling about it, which is again very important to us as we plan to let both current and future children bang away!
Ease of Use:
It's a drum. Hit it, it makes noise. If a 8-month-old figures that out, what more is there to say about ease of use?
Sound:
Expectations were low -- oh, gosh, another kiddie drum. But then to hear the rich sounds coming from this, whether it's Dad/Mom rapping out something fun, or our little girl learning to smack and mute the tones - we are delighted.
Value:
Yes, clearly. This is a "real drum" for the price.
Durability:
Yes, very much so. It's especially important that it is sturdy and durable because of the little one learning to stand and walk by using the drum. It's even just the right height for this!
