This charger is fantastic for charging your phone or powering a few guitar pedals (with a 5v to 9v converter with neg. center) for mobile gigs when a there’s no AC supply! The built-in squeeze handle gives you the option of expending some of your energy in exchange for some more back up power! Great item. 5 Stars!

I like the idea of this but a couple of things I noticed. First, the switch that holds the trigger in is not very good and doesn't hold well at all so the trigger releases all the time. Second, it takes so many squeezes to charge anything it is not very efficient. eg. squeezing over and over for one full minute allows for one minute of use on a cell phone....Good as an absolute emergency I suppose.

After a few weeks of use, the xeMicro seems to be built very well. No complaints.
It's all about the battery backup and the hand charger. The battery backup comes in very handy and the hand charger is great in a pinch.
Just plug it in.
Your general opinion of this product.
This product is a must have. It has replaced my phone and iPod charger. It's great to have on long trips because even when you run out of battery, you can charge it up yourself. If I had to say one negative thing about the xeMicro it would be that it takes a while to fully charge using the hand crank but it's really no big deal.
If you really need to make a call and you don't have any battery left, this thing is priceless.
