Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Feels very light and comftorable. I have read reviews were people didnt like the neck but I have no issues with it all. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I was really surprised by how much you can really get dark to snappy tones. I was expecting straight jangle but I was pleasantly surprised at the guitars wide range. Action How was the action out of the box? Just a tad high for my taste, very easy and quick fix.

I ordered a Fire Glow and AMS sent me a Maple Glow by mistake. The maple was awesome and I almost kept it. But every time I picked it up I thought about the Fire Glow. I called AMS and I had the right one in less than a week. Great service!! Action How was the action out of the box? Set up perfectly! Tuned it up and never had to do a thing. Only guitar I've gotten that didn't need a pro set-up.
