Great mic for the money. If you're looking at improving your DSLR audio or video audio, then you will not be disappointed. Being that it's generally made to mount to the shoe on a camera, it doesn't have the capability to reposition itself at different angles. If you want that, then you'll have to upgrade to one of the normal shotgun mics like the NTG2.
