Product Rating Product Review There are many options for keyboard controllers, most much cheaper than Roland’s offerings. However, most of those feel so cheap to the touch. They have cheap cranky keys that drive me crazy. Roland’s controllers feel completely solid like their synths. It’s a joy to play on them. The only somewhat downside, is their line is getting quite old and it’s obvious they are losing interest in updating software for them. That said, I haven’t had any issue to speak of using on macOS Monterey with Logic Pro and Ableton Live. The Roland editor works still and easy to program the button and sliders. I haven’t had much success using in Logic’s controller setup so just program through editor and leave at that. I used the larger controllers before, this time needed a smaller one to fit on a desk slide out keyboard tray .. fit perfectly.

Product Review This unit works nicely with my Maschine Studio. The USB power works great. Light and compact for traveling. Had I known they had a the A-500, I would have bought that one instead.

Product Review This unit is 1/2 the price of others with similar features, and integrates easily with Sonar. If you are a Sonar user try this before any other controllers of similar size and you won't be disappointed. Seems well made. For Sonar this definitely the way to go. All the sliders and knobs of the best of its competition. Very nice. Sensibly laid out. This product exceeded my expectations.
