Great self-contained system for solo acoustic performance
Quality:
As an owner of other Roland amplifier products, the AC90 exhibits the same high quality of components and workmanship that I've come to expect from this manufacturer. The unit was solid, defect and blemish free, and came with a well padded carrying bag to help keep it that way.
Reliability:
N/A - I've only had the product for about a week.
Overall:
In general, I love it! The sound quality and volume is amazing for its relatively small size. I was somewhat disappointed, however, in the anti-feedback control, unaware that, according to the manual, it is "not designed to work with respect to the high-frequency feedback that can occur when using microphones." I found this to be true, though a good quality vocal microphone with a tight pickup pattern worked very well as long as I was not positioned directly in front of the amp. The first gig with it was perfect. It's a keeper.
Playability and Feel:
The unit is amazingly light - only about 25 pounds. You can easily carry it in the provided bag with the stap slung over one shoulder. The controls are simple and easy to understand - even without reading the manual.
Tone:
Great, natural acoustic sound for your guitar, and vocals too.
Finish:
The amp covering was clean and tight, with no imperfections.

It's Like a Mini PA!
Quality:
It feels strong. I'm not sure what it's made of, but it's definitely a sturdy piece of equipment. I don't move it around much though, just to the occasional coffee shop.
Reliability:
It's been work great since I got it close to a year ago. I couldn't Imagine playing my ovation acoustic without it.
Overall:
I like it alot, aside from making my acoustic sound awesome, it makes a nice mini PA for listening to music. My nephew and nieces love it cuz they come over and sing into my PG58 while I play the guitar.
Playability and Feel:
I like the built in reverb and chorus effects it makes my guitar and vocals sound warmer and more rounded.
Tone:
Warm I'd say, but that could just be the way I have it EQ'd.
Finish:
It looked new when I got it and it still does. I take pretty good care of my equipment though.
Action:
No action, it's an amp not a guitar
