Coming from a 300w SVT-powered Eden stack, I thought this little amp would be more of a whimper than a thump. But I was wrong. It sounds great, even at higher volumes. I was taking a chance, but since I'm happy with my Roland AC-33RW, I was betting Roland hit another one out of the park. And they did! Full of effects, so I don't need any pedals. It's also a modeling amp. I can actually hear the difference in the short list of amps modeled. This amp makes my Squier PJ bass sound like a Fender!

This is a great little amp. I was surprised by the versatility of this unit as well. I own several boss effect pedals and the 20XL by itself can lock in three key aspects all bass players seek out.
