General Your general opinion of this product. Bought as scratch and dent for 2/3 original price- just has a couple of scuffs on the plastic and works perfectly...... Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Seems like you could throw it across the room and not hurt it. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? N/A Action How was the action out of the box? N/A

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I think mass manufacturing has helped the reliabilty factor. I never had a Cube malfunction on a gig or at home. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've owned a few of the original Cubes and the also the new ones and they've always been dependable. The speaker holds up well when I use it with my jazz trio. General Your general opinion of this product. I like the Cube-40xl a lot. Out of the box it gets a nice jazz tone with my archtop, 335 & tele. The looper is invaluble for practice and some solo gigs. The footswitching capability is cool to and makes the very versatile. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? I just walked 6 city blocks to my regular Sunday night jazz gig toting the Cube 40 with my guitar in a gigbag. The size and weight make it very managable. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Compared to the previous Cube 30, the 40 has a slightly more digital sound but very subtle. The 40 gets a really mellow jazz tone from the clean channel. I plan to buy another and run them stereo for bigger gigs. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Claasic black Cube, how can you go wrong. Action How was the action out of the box? n/a

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The quality of this amp is off the hook. Roland should be patting themselves on the back! Reliability How has it stood up over time? Just got it about a week ago but it's doing what I expect of it with flying colors. General Your general opinion of this product. Great equipment for its aize and price Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Very light weight and easy to handle. The control are all on the top so no stooping over or around to get access. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Nice tone Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The amp is very nicely designed and built Action How was the action out of the box? Got right to it experimenting with it and was impressed almost right away.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Having gigged with a Cube 30X in the past, I can attest to their roadworthiness. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I had a Cube 30X and it lasted a long time before I sold it -- I would imagine this amp will last equally long. General Your general opinion of this product. These are great little amps, among the best of the modeling amps out there. The new XL series have a bunch of new features that really make them versatile for any gig. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? see "sound" above Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Action How was the action out of the box?
