Reliability:
great so far. I've had it a year.
Overall:
this is a great amp, sounds great and has lots of features. I just don't like the price. The mic channels works well. My acoustic electric guitar sounds very good. It's works well with a battery too. It's pretty loud. I used to have the small version micro, but I traded up to this. the micro wasn't loud enough.

The imput for the guitar seem to work ok but it doesnt grip the cord as well as the other imputs.May have to have that worked on one day.
Sound:
Not bad.Any guitar player should be able to find a setting that they like on this amp.
Reliability:
This is my 3rd Roland amp.Never had a problem with any roland product.
Overall:
Great amp.I wanted a portable amp that had a better bass sound than my micro cube.
Playability and Feel:
Easy to carry around. Not heavy at all.
Tone:
You can get about any sound you like from this amp.Lots of settings.

Quite a Deal If You Get the Red One, Nice Product
Sound:
Louder than I expected. It doesn't move you like a bigger amp would, but you can't take the bigger amp outside and run it off 6 double a batteries, so that's the trade-off. I think it might be able to hang with a drummer even. Mic output is plenty loud and sounds decent.
Reliability:
So far so good, Roland is reliable in my experience.
Overall:
This is a great little practice amp and is convenient for taking to the street, park, riverfront, or anywhere. Beats most buskers' amps I have seen on the streets of new orleans in terms of volume and tone.
Playability and Feel:
I haven't used the effects too much but the onboard tuner is handy.
Tone:
Lots of options here to choose from. Good clean sounds which is usually what I go for, but I have had a lot of fun with the overdriven tones as well. This amp has inspired me to practice way more since it is so convenient.
Finish:
I saved about seventy bucks by getting the red one.

I actually take it out on the Street sometimes
Quality:
This is a Quality Product. I haven't dropped it yet. But I don't baby it either. I do take it outside. And it is pretty light for two speakers and the amp and the wood and the batteries and all...
Sound:
The tone is Great. I play Ovation A/E guitars through it. Also Epiphone and BC Rich solid bodied Electrics. The various COSM amp modes are perfect. I often play the Acoustic Electrics using the 'Mic' setting for a pure acoustic sound. But the Chorus and Reverb can give you a full bodied sound out on a street corner.
The 'Acoustic Sim' setting actually will create a plausible acoustic sound out of my Epiphone LP Special. And the 'Stack' and 'R-fier' setting can annoy the neighbors.
Reliability:
It hasn't given me any trouble. I have had it almost a year.
Carry extra batteries, cuz this doesn't give you much warning when the batteries die... It doesn't slowly fade away. When the batteries die, they just Die.
Also, it is worth you money to buy a dozen rechargeable batteries and a charger. At low volumes in my apartment, a set of batteries will last at least a week... Or more. I play a couple of hours every day.
Overall:
I got mine at AMS for $179 cuz it's RED! Hey, People won't trip over it.
This puts out alot of sound for it's size. I run it on rechargeable batteries All the time. And they last. The size is great. It fits in a shoulder-bag to take outside.
Playability and Feel:
This is an amplifier. But the knobs work easily.
Tone:
Great tone. Three tone knobs in the instrument channel. These are not 'EQ sliders'... If you have the knob set to zero, you get zero sound.
Finish:
I believe that the case is 'Tolex' vinyl stuff over particle board. But it is sturdy. It has plastic bumpers on all the corners and a metal grill.
Action:
This is an amplifier. But it worked fine right outta the box.

Quality:
Excellent quality as have been all the Roland products I've ever purchased.
Reliability:
Again, it's Roland, shouldn't be a problem.
Overall:
I wanted a small, portable amp my wife and I could use for practice and smaller venues. It didn't take long to give it a try. We lead praise and worship and got an opportunity to sing at a small church. They didn't have much of a PA system so we took the Cube Street with us. The Sunday we played there were 52 people in the audience[almost maxed out]. I used an XLR pig tail and put both our SM-58's into the mic channel and plugged my Ibanez acoustic/electric into the other, set to the Fender Blackface setting with a touch of chorus and reverb and it sounded great. In fact, after the first song, the pastor whispered "could we could turn it down just slightly":-). This was exactly the kind of scenario I bought this amp for. By the way, it was great to place the amp anywhere we wanted without concern for an electrical outlet. Cool!
Playability and Feel:
The amp is incredibly light, all the controls are familiar Roland style. The effects sound good and the fact that each channel has it's own independent effects makes it extra versatile. I also plugged an MP3 player with some backing tracks into the 1/8 mini jack on the back and it sounded good as well. You control the volume and tone of that via the players internal controls.
Tone:
The overall tone is very good. Again, with 2x 6.5 inch speakers you're not going to have a big bass sound. However, the bass was adequate. The vocals sound incredibly good. Excellent clarity and tone and that is with two mics running at once. I did not hear any speaker thumping or break up.
Finish:
Finish is great. I bought the red one because it was much less money and is the same amp other than the bright red color. I may order the amp cover/carrying bag that is offered for this, I believe the code is CB-CS1.
Action:
Amp worked perfectly out of the box. Simple, straight forward owner's manual.
