The Roland Dj808 is an outstanding piece of equipment. The additional drum machine is something that allows a dj to possibly expand to the production world. The customer service at American music supply are always friendly and knowledgeable. Customer service combined with a solid dj controller is heaven sent. I would recommend this controller to any dj that's looking for a solid piece of equipment. The platters are solid and feel great for scratching and turntablist trickery. 5 of 5 stars.

When I tell you this controller does it all! This is a great controller for an intermediate - professional! This controller would be too complicated for an entry level DJ, but would be great for an entry level music producer(my opinion)! This machine allows you to show your creativity!! Totally recommend!!!!

Being in the club and in the studio doing events this product is by far one of my favorite piece of equipment that I own. I’ve recommended to all the DJs I know and the ones I just meet if you want to expand on your creativity and up your game and take your musical talent to the next level Roland 808 is what you need !!

I purchased my Roland 808 from American musical supply and was more than happy with my order. From purchase to delivery everything was easy. They are able to finance your payments and set you up on payment plans. It is really easy to pay and their customer service is pretty quick to reply to emails. If you are the DJ who has always aspired to expand but never ventured into music production, this is a very nice start for you. The controller allows you to express yourself both as a DJ and a creator. The incorporated drum machine allows you to mix in your on creation with any song/s you have in your library to give you that exclusive version to any song using the TR/Sample line to mix it in and this can be done all on the fly and live. The sample buttons on the machine matches up with the sample buttons in Serato; this is nice because visualization in the software matches up physical buttons on the machine. The vocalizer in the MIC section is tremendous,and the auto pitch function is also nice. The sound is excellent!

I WAS IN TURMOIL FOR AWHILE ABOUT PURCHASING A NEW CONTROLLER. I JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT A DENON MC7000 LAST YEAR. I WAS HAPPY WITH IT BUT I JUST FELT AN UPGRADE WAS NECESSARY. IT WAS BETWEEN THE 808 & THE DDJ 1000. I FINALLY DECIDED ON THE 808 BECAUSE ALL THE REVIEWS KEPT TALKING ABOUT THE INCREDIBLE SOUND QUALITY & THEY WERE NOT EXAGGERATING ONE BIT!! This is a great controller. It sounds better than the Numark I previously owned. I play better and have gotten several compliments and bookings because of this new system. It is also easier to use than the Numark and I’m so glad I purchased this controller.

I've been playing with this controller for 7 months at all my gigs and I must say, it's phenomenal! This controller has all the "bells & whistles" you can think of in a controller. One of the features I really enjoyed the most were the channel FX, the Pitch N' Play buttons, TRS Sequencer, the VT mic feature, and the SOUND CARD! The sound quality is nearly identical to Pioneer's DJM-900NXS2 but the Roland has that tight and punchy bass, which really hits you hard in the chest when you plug this unit into any sound system. CLEAR AND POWERFUL SOUND! Although I really wish it had 2 microphone inputs and Serato Flip functions. Other than that, I highly recommend this controller! You will get lots of compliments about the sound quality.

This product is amazing for mobile DJing, as I do. Unfortunately, the product doesn't have dual USB capabilities to host two DJs at the same time. I do appreciate the color scheme, it looks great in photos, and the 808 makes the product standout from other products my crowd has seen. At home I utilize the convenience of recording my mixes for my 9PM radio show; then i have fun recording and experimenting with the Roland 808 for recreation. This is nearly a perfect introduction to the DJ Console world, as an already-advanced DJ.

Alright , so I've been Dj'n for about a year and I wanted to upgrade from my entry level controller. This controller is the best hands down , easy to figure out and the beat maker is awesome for anyone who wants to start producing. On my end I like using it when I'm playing a set.
Very straightforward and the jog wheels have a good weight to them. A lot of keen features , and produces a great sound overall ! Very glad I made this purchase.

Every light weight very good controller mid range price you must learn how to use this controller because it has a beat machine built Book in it. Good sound Card. Cut a set free control for the Mike gain just sound good Excellent controller for anybody that's been dealing with controllers for a long time if you watch scratcher is really accurate right on the beach a lot of D j's don't like it because is plastic but at 3 o'clock in the morning all in this stuff around is more content boil a you can get the bag in holds the laptop and that and get you a stand in you can DJ at a club just hook up LX you could pitch on your Mike gain very good.lxr on masters And quarters only one your booth output.you have download serato DJ pro with firmware download from roland. I was using Traktor forever so when I decided to upgrade I said I would switch to Serato. The Roland DJ 808 is amazing. The TR Step Sequencer is dope once you get your songs on BeatGrid. The platters were a big deal for me. They are the perfect size and the light guide works great. The sound quality is excellent. I would buy this thing again and I haven't had it long.
