Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I wouldn't throw it around but mine has stood the test of time. Reliability How has it stood up over time? The only problem I had was with the pickup. I banged the crap out of mine and eventually broke it. So, placement and awareness are key :) Overall Your general opinion of this product. When I first installed mine onto my guitar I experienced some of the same problems that some users have posted in reviews. Pich bending and not being able to play fast leads. However, once I learned how to configure the pickup and synth to the right action and attack I can burn. I played in a 3 piece band and the synth filled up the dead space. The best part about learning to master the GR20 was watching people in the audience search for the keyboard player. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Action How was the action out of the box? not so great because I didn't know what I was doing. Took time to learn but well worth the effort to figure out.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Its a Roland. Speaks for itself. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Just bought it. Some of looks a little fragile, like the pickup but I don't throw my equipment around anyway. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This thing really adds to the guitar enjoyment. Opens a whole other world. I just got it and temporarily installed the pickup to hear the sounds and I couldn't lay it down. Lots of fun. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Controls are really easy to use. Don't need a degree to operate like some boxes. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Very good tone. You do have to change your playing style a little but it comes naturally when you hear it. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Its plastic but looks nice. Great layout. Action How was the action out of the box? Was really good and I don't have it tweaked yet.
Very close to perfection!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very light! All plastic, but should hold up in the studio for decades. Reliability How has it stood up over time? If it holds up as well as my friends GR33, I'll be very happy. Only time will tell. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This is a great sounding synth. Not hard to work with, but the pickup could be better. I would most recommend this for the studio, for adding some nice texture's to your tunes. A little aggrivating if your trying to play anything fast though. I had the GK3 professionaly installed on a vintage Gibson V, & I'm convinced the "Ghost" pickup you see on some of the Godin guitars is really the way to go. If your a shredder, or just play moderatly fast, & hope to double some lead work, this GK3 isn't going to cut it. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The control's work well, & respond nicely. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? N/A Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Very nice. Professional. Action How was the action out of the box? N/A
