Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Hehehe, I haven't killed it yet so it must be tough. I play it hard and for hrs at a time and take it on road trips to friends and family and even in the truck ride it refusesto get hurt. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? It's hard to pin a favorite feature on this. It has so much that has turned my tinkering on Casios to really making some nice music but the one feature that stands out to me is the "D" beam. I can wave my hand and get this synthesizer to do a number of cool things while still playing not missing a beat. The only feature I'd add is for it to be able to record and play back at least one track. The JUNO GI does up to 8 and I think the JUNO DI should at least record one. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Well, I'm use to Casio keyboards and this is my first pro synthesizer and I'll admit to still learning some of it's funtions but even I as one who just plays for fun found it fairly easy to use right from the box. Manual was a big help too. Sound How is its Tone? I've touched on Casio and as well as Casio is for the home entertainment the sound on this synthesizer is pro grade. The voices are very high in quality. I have been told by my friends to play a differant CD when they didn't know I was playing the synthesizer. However there are a few sound effects such as "Car Stopping", "Sirens", "Train" ect. that do sound Casioish but others like "Thunder", "Rain" are right on the money. But all of the voices and synth rythems are right on the quality Action How was the action out of the box? Really a plug 'n' play. Out of the box ready to preform Value Was this item an overall good value? As we all know Roland is a big name and top quality when it comes to pro keyboards and synthesizers. And this may not be the "Phantom" but for it's price it can't be matched. It has the durability and the sound quality that even a big named band could use and for anyone looking to buy on a budget this is the synthesizer to get.
Live musician's dream.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? When I first took it out of the box. I was shocked at how light it really is. But it really seems pretty durable so far. And I've had no problems. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The ability to use aiff,mp3,wav,and midi files with the song player. Plus everything can be saved on comercially available usb drives.i always had a problem looking for memory cards in the past. I love everything about this keyboard. And I've had quite a few, believe me. The song player, transpose and octive buttons. The d-beam expression mode. I love it. And a baby could operate it. But at the same time. It has enough professional features (editing software) for the experience musician. Plus over a thousand sounds doesn't hurt either. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? I never even had to read the manuel it was so easy to navigate. Plus it had all the right features i need for live performing. The song player is a dream. And the favorite patch selection is really a God send. I can easily switch between patches in mid song. I used to perform live using a workstation. But this is definately for live playing. Plus I can use it for studio applications. Sound How is its Tone? For the price. you can't beat the sound at all. I used to perform with a 2500.00 workstation every week. This guy uses the same core technology of the Fantom G family. So it's quite powerful. And then there's the editing software that's included. The pianos are nice. And I love what happens when I use the modulation knob with the organs to control the leslie effect. Sweet. Action How was the action out of the box? I really liked the retro look. And couldn't wait to cut it on to see what it could do. I did a a lot of extensive research for an instrument for live performing, since that's want i do the most. Value Was this item an overall good value? I don't think I could have ever done better at this price. I even got it 200 below the list price because 4th of July sale. Even if I hadn't. It would still be the best decision I've made.
